I am PROUD to be from my beloved steel city Pittsburgh, but after watching this video and hearing the great Billy Joel sing New York State of Mind, if I wasn't from Pittsburgh, I would want to be from New York. That is a tough and rough city, but it really showed its true colors after 9/11, New Yorkers got together and basically told the world fine, knock us down, we will fix it and be stronger. Thanks for posting this video of magnificent New York City. I went there in 2004 and fell in love with it. I got sick a few years later - a neuromuscular condition and then breast cancer. I hope I go back some day because I feel incredibly drawn to NYC in a way I cannot explain. I cannot get enough of ANYTHING relating to it. Movies, pictures and this great footage. While I wait to get back, I drink in these beautiful sights and yearn for it. Thank you so much for sharing.

I've grown up with New York, really. I'm a few states away, but my father's family was the type that lived in New Jersey and crossed over to the city every so often and to carry on the tradition, we go to NYC several times a year. I've been to many places and different cities, but New York will always be my favorite. Not necessarily the shopping, but the overall feel of the place. I love it.
