  • The fucking Tories are one to talk about wasteful spending, what will the biggest deficits in Canadian history.

    Fuck the Harpercrites.

  • wait... what? How is liberal spending habits related to the question being asked here? The question was how can the conservative party be breaking the copyright laws (something that they've done more than once), and the response comes back with what? And, it is amazing that the conservatives are condemning the liberals for running deficit just few months before they ran a huge deficit?

If you just get rid of the idiotic commentary, this video can be used as an attack ad against conservatives.

  • lol didn't the Liberals hand over a 13 billion dollar surplus? Before the crisis hit that was gone, and after Flaherty couldn't hit a single deficit target he set, o yeah, Liberals are revving up, watch out! lol you've been had.

  • @limduul 13 billion dollar surplus by ruining health care, demolishing transfer payments, putting our armed forces in grave danger through massive cuts, leaving the Provinces on their own and in debt...hmmmm I don't know...I guess if you guys wanna run on that record, go for it. What I know is that the Conservatives kept Canada in the number 1 spot in the G8 through the Recession, they had a targeted economic stimulus which is why Canada is in such good shape...We've been had? Give it up

  • @Cnd1867 If I'm not mistaken, didn't our banks hold up because the Liberals and NDP refused to allow Conservatives to push for bank deregulation, therefore not allowing our banks to lend at 30 to 1(or higher)as fractional reserve ratio. As well not allowing them to gamble so much in the form of credit default swaps on derivatives helped A TON. Thank god we had some Liberals in power in the past or else we'd be in the same boat as the US.

  • @limduul First off, no sense bringing the NDP into that argument, they were a rump party in the 90's

Second, you know I say it was a mixture of corporate tax cuts, and the economic package that stabilized the loss of GDP and productivity in our manufacturing and industrial sectors, you say the liberals regulation rewrites stabilized the banks, and you I'll give you that, but I will not accept the idea that the ONLY reason Canada was one of the best performers was because of the liberals

  • @limduul Also, if, after 3 majority governments, 1 minority government and 13 years in power, leaving regulations on banks as is and balancing a budget through harmful spending cuts is all you guys can look to, that seems a pretty pathetic record. At the same time Liberal friendly ad firms benefited, my former MP John Manley is now the head of the CCCE (the liberals say we're tied to Bay street...), and health care, education and innovation in this country have been set back decades.

  • @limduul Actually it was the Mulroney Conservatives who instituted the Canada Banking Act. The Liberals had nothing to do with bank regulations. They sat on Mulroney's policies for 13 years and then tried to take credit for them. Same goes with the GST.

  • *wa-tish!* - onomatopoeia for whip cracking against Brison's ass... His... sexy... irresistable ass... *gargle, shlurp* - onomatopoeia for me drooling on chin

  • Its because of an eye condition she has! By your title I can tell that you are a sorry SOB!!! Hopefully someone beats the hell out of you!

  • Scotty got spanked and he probably liked it! LOL

  • Conservatives have got to be the stupidest things moving on the planet. Liberals left a surplus, Conservatives spent it. Simple as that. Then they say liberals and N.D.P.ers are spenders but at least that spending is going to things that represent Canadian society to the eyes of the world. Conservatives loose money in corporate investments, that take our jobs over seas to exploit the Third World via corporate welfare. Fucking dumb beasts the Conservatives are.

  • "loose". I think you meant "lose".

The Conservatives have balanced every budget, with a minority gov't, since their election several years ago. You should see what the NDP have done to Saskatchewan in the way of USELESS foreign investments. The Liberals aren't much worse.

Since you obviously know nothing of politics, and simply recite things you hear from others, I'll explain things to you in a manner you will understand: You are wrong. The end.

  • Who was it that said Conservatives are stupid? Oh yeah, John Stuart Mill. So many years later and still stands true.

  • @Qrstnce If a man isn't a liberal in his 20's, he hasn't got a heart--if he isn't a Conservative in his 30's, he hasn't got a brain!

Hope my quote from Sir Winston Churchill outdoes this "John" guy you refer to!

(I believe they call this a, "Smackdown"--hope this spanking taught you a lesson!)

    Glad to help clarify....lolol!

  • @mikefastener Plenty! Giving any face value to a racist like Winston Churchhill was give plenty of clairty in how conservatives think and stick together... oh what a surprise, the quoting of a genocidal racist to prove a point! Yeah, you sure 'smacked' me.

  • @Qrstnce Oh my....so angry (as winger boys, left winger boys to be clear, tend to do).

Well, so Sir Winston Churchill is not prominent enough for you? I guess we need to revisit the gene pool for more applicants (when it comes to the winger boys, the pool is very shallow--agreed?).

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify things.

(I believe they call this a, "Smackdown"!

  • @mikefastener What? Actually I am using facts. FACT: Conservatives tend to use fear tactics and dumb things down in order to make sense of social spending. FACT. FACT: Winston Churchill was a genocidal colonialist racist. To make him the maxim of conservative thinking thereby only secures the FACT that conservatives for the most part tend to be racists bent on colonialist and genocide of those who are not the proper race. Fact, not anger.

  • @Qrstnce I believe the reference is to SIR Winston Churchill.

Just thought it good that I educate you.

    You are welcome.

  • @mikefastener And actually given that you don't know who John Stuart Mill is, FACT Conservatives are stupid. Go back to College... he's found in Intro classes to Philosophy and Poltics. FACT.

  • @Qr@Qrstnce Your CAP's key seems to be stuck! Many winger-boys, knowing they cannot debate, tend to CAPITALIZE words for emphasis (look it up if you need to).

Question for the feeble minded (you, of course)...are you saying this, "John" guy stands higher than Sir Winston Churchill?

Just trying to get a sense of your sense of reality.

  • @Qrstnce Further comment winger-boy...so this "John" guy is found in intro classes to philosophy and Poltics (sic)....some students actually take Engineering and Science to get jobs and not depend on the public sector to support them!

    Any, "insightful" comment?

lololol-I have tears in my eyes laughing at you right now!

  • @mikefastener no, your ignorance of things such as politics and philosophical roots in order to understand contemporary systems of government and though and society speak for themselves. I think your comments pretty much sum it up.

  • @Qrstnce Absolutely, my silly winger-boy friend! I am ignorant. I don't believe in corruption in gov't....I don't believe in lies......I don't believe in stealing! I guess my comments do pretty well sum up my thoughts....and yours? Oh well--we all know how with the lie-brals how that worked out! (Don't we?)

Hope I helped you to clarify!

  • @mikefastener Listen you fucking moron, and I'm saying that cuz you've clearly showed no respect -sign of conservative aggressive tactics to hide ignorance and deflect from honest a la John Baird- I'm not even a Liberal you don't pig fucker. I don't side with the Liberals, I don't vote Liberal you fucking moron. This doesn't take away from the uselessness of the Conservative government that has launched us into a lost war as we face horrific financial crisis. Whose sole purpose is pipelines.

  • @Qrstnce Thank goodness we have had Mr. Harper's hand on the Canadian economy. World leaders came to Canada for his economic advice and how he pulled Canada though these difficult times....right? (Afterall, Mr. Harper is an Economist.)

    An inconvenient truth for you...perhaps?

    (Not for Canadians!)

  • Someone needs an unused bar of Irish Spring for his mouth here!Take your ritalin and calm down for a moment or two.Nobody here appreciates your comments,in your form. You want to talk about the 'lost war'?What Prime Minister put us there? You want to talk about 'horrific financial crisis? It was a world event and no fantasy land could stop it.You talk about 'pipelines'?Cept some crazy bastard out west,we are doing fine to supply ourselves.Don't bring J.B into the mix when you have nothing on him!

  • @mikefastener Thus making it apt to say, as John Stuart Mill did.... Conservatives are stupid. And given that your reply sits as "this John guy" you conservatives really are dumb. And it's also true most conservative media tends to dumb down for convenience.

  • @Qrstnce Wow....if only the inconvenient truths backed you up.

(Hate it when those facts get in the way!)

Oh well, to quote the greatest President in the 20th Century, Mr. Roland Regan, "There you go again".

    lolol

  • @mikefastener LOL Ronald Regan!!! Yeah, Mr. Anti-Feminist, another colonilzer that destroyed, raped and depleated Latin America, and all the while mag shady deal in the Middle East... I love your examples, keep them coming! Right out of the Right Wingers for Dummies handbook! FACT.

  • @Qrstnce Winger boys do need to calm down! (Hope your medication is working.)

Oh well, as someone said, "there you go again".

Hope I helped you to clarify things!

  • Before all you Liberals start condemning the Conservatives for "copyright infringements" or whatever, please note that your leader's so-called environmental plan also broke a copyright law by naming itself "Green Shift" even as a Toronto-based environmental company goes by the same name.

Now said company is suing the Liberals for using their name, and all Dion says is that the lawsuit is "deplorable." If that's not hypocrisy, then I don't know what you call it.

  • lol some former, typically colourful partisan rhetoric from brison about liberal spending... yeah so? the current government has proven that conservatives can spend tax payers' money like it's going out of style, too. at least recent liberal governments were far more fiscally responsible than that.

meanwhile, where's the answer to brison's important question asked on behalf of canadian voters? where's the accountability that harper was so keen on before the last election?

  • Note: Brison was sitting infront of Keith Martin, another idiot.

btw, Parliament has a new speaker.

  • they officiate the issue by talking about liberal spending, which has nothing to do with the question at all! The question how ever rhetorical (designed to inflame and incite the kind of response it got) was about the legality of a conservative attack ad. really a question better asked by lawyers. The Liberals and Conservatives keep us distracted while they toss inflammatory questions and comments back and forth, making it look like their working, but they all laugh because they know it's a joke

  • The liberals a party of deficits? What Canada is this guy living in, right now the Conservatives are rolling in liberal surpluses. give me a break, I hope people are paying more attention than that!

  • People realize the lie-beral surpluses were from Mulroney's excellent implementation of the GST and FTA (the items Chreiten promised to rip-up). Therefore, please give the credit where it belongs to the Conservatives. I hope you will admit the truth and not some typical lie-beral stance.

  • Check your sources, bucko! It's Trudeau's Liberals in the 1970's that created deficit spending and ballooned the debt. True, Mulroney didn't fix the problem entirely, and Chretien is the one in power when we left the red, but it's the Liberals who started the trend.

The Liberals ARE a party of deficits, even the Liberal-friendly CBC knows and reports this. Learn your facts before you start spewing Liberal propaganda!

  • Yes Trudeau killed canada by buying into the private banks and totally sold us out, I don't spout Liberal propaganda, I'm a sovereign, I govern my self and don't play to party politics.

Trudeau also removed our rights with the Charter. But it still stands that the Conservatives came into a Liberal surplus that is a fact that stands. He is still avoiding the real question!!!

  • People see things as they want. What I saw was a conservative government party member not answering the opposition's question by spouting accusational rhetoric. I didn't see a proper response in that answer.

  • That's why it is called QUESTION Period, and not ANSWER Period.

The Liberals were masters of QP - could never get anything out of them - anyone remember the Grey Fog?

  • Brison = Tool

  • AHAHAHAHAH

Brison is unaware that he is such a caricature. He is a useful idiot but he doesnt realise it. Poor poor Scotty. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Excellent! Keep those smackdowns coming!
