@maxonfire67 The first one where he is hitting the wooden dummy is Romble in the Bronx. But you may be talking about Drunken master 2 where he falls through the table.

add jackies speech to the end, it makes the whole thing worth it. Especially since jackie was very nervious to speak English at this point, and is very stuttering thinking of the correct English words, plus he plugs to go see "Rumble In The Bronx" at the end, is awesome.
@Heyitsbao I would just assume that Tarantino knows better than all of us on pronunciation and that America has said it wrong for years. That and that Tarantino is a huge martial arts film fan.
Despite the fact that the MTV Movie Awards weren't intended to be taken seriously when they were created it's sadly nostalgic and important to remember that awards like this and the now defunct Best New Filmmaker prize (which was won by the then unknown likes of Chris Nolan and Wes Anderson amongst others)on occasion helped introduce a whole new generation in the States to actors and directors they'd never heard of before.
im wondering if anyone know where i can recaps, video clips of past mtv movie awards. I really want to see jackie chan and chris tucker acceptance speech when they won best dual and best fight. its not on youtube.. can anyone upload it here if they have it? thns a bunch
That was a lame score they chose for Jackie montage and the clips were crap also i mean who the hell did that presentation, it made it seem like a joke. Give the guy the proper props he deserves.
Anyways, this was back in the early 90's, before Jackie made it really huge here, so I kind of get the idea from the crowd's lack of response at certain points that some of them have no idea who he is.
And BTW, Tarrantino is, or attempting to say "Chan" in the Cantonese manner.
Yea MTV, all those kids wont know who buster keaton or fred astaire is. They only know nirvana back in 95, and all the other Seattle pussies. So your speech is wasted on them, Mr. Tarantino.
Ahhhhh, this was a time when this award had meaning. These days MTV is nothing and any award they give means nothing. I miss the 90's. This generation has NOTHING.
So tru brother, when pop culture was really part of culture.. Everything pumping out nowadays is manufactured watered down and poison to the younger generation...
that's how it is these days unfortunately. Also, alot of this younger generation thinks they know-it-all and talk big without experiencing and knowing nothing. It's embarrassing.
@SycoTik hah, thats funny cause i say the same thing about the 80's and im sure someone would say the same thing about the 70's. really though, youre right. everything has been said and done and there is no more....more. remakes, spongebob, and this damn economy.
oh man i've been looking for this for a while, big thanks for posting... do you have a higher quality source? or is this like a vhsrip? either way, i honestly come on youtube and search for this every six months or so, glad i finally caught it.
damn it wheres the rest i wanna see him get the award, the videos they showed they could have shown more like the fight between him and Benny and the police story 2 fight
Yeah, wow, I remember I had taped this on a VCR, and I'd watch it over and over, the White Zombie part was really neat.. thanks for uploading this, it's been 13 years since I've last seen it.. wow!
This clip is what introduced me to Jackie Chan back in the day.. This was released way before Rumble In The Bronx hit the U.S. I remember going to the video store looking for his films after watching this. Jackie Chan is the best and he deserved the Lifetime Achievement award.
He actually pronounced his name right.

I think he's being authentic. If you look at Kill Bill, it very closely mirrors the fighting of Chan movies.
