I have a travelmate 4010.. I want to run linux on it, can I use the same distro?

this is ubuntu .. but the ubuntu driver for this graphic card isn't so good at it used to be...
By the way... the bad side: the laptops in general don't have a good heat dissipation on the graphic card.
doing this, the CPU is kept cool.. but the graphic card starts to heat.
Is not a bad thing! but I like a cold laptop :D
(impossible to get it in windows.... I remember that the fan is always working )
give ubuntu a try ;)
