@applesweeter it's a old ghost love movie. They fell in love, but the guy's parents don't approve and they didn't have any money left, so they decided to commit suicide to stay together forever. The girl died, she waited, the guy's ghost never showed up, so she decided to come back to find him, and she found him married to someone else, but yet, spent all of his parents money, so he's broke and even his own son hates him. She found him and told him she doesn't want to wait anymore, and

I personally think she was disappointed at how he just left her ghost and moved on with his life even tho they promised each other they would stay together forever. She realized that love wasn't that dependable after all. That's the end of the movie. I think this movie has been translated as "Rouge" (1987) you can find it online for more info. This truly is a good movie.

某程度上我認同你的講法,大家有想過, 為甚麼粵劇跟南音會比人感覺"老餅" (老套/過時)? 因為香港沒有把這些傳統好好的推廣到下一代, 反觀日本也有很多曲目/唱戲,也可以保留, 因為這些東西已經從少根深鞏固在心中...需然她們年輕的一代也­會想這是不合時宜, 但亦不會對這些舊事物有一種negative負面的感覺...

This is one of the best HK love movies. They showed it on BBC(Like TVB in Britain) in England back in the late 90's during christmas!! Very surprise to me!
