  • @DronetekPolitics you think? he is the messiah

  • In summer price was 6,36 euro/gallon here in europa, and at that time 6,36 euro was 10,18 dollar.

  • HEY EMFORTY2...fuck off you liberal

  • why do people always expect others to solve their problems? Want to spend less on gas, it is simple, use less of it. Gas should have $5 a gallon in taxes.

  • @SpikeVFR use less? i go to work and back, and run errands me and most dont dont joy ride anymore! so know what?? what good did that do! oh more people in china make out. spread the gas savings

  • Peak oil is here

  • Man go to sleep

  • In Denamrk we pay 8.5 dollars per gallon.

  • okay thats nice to know

  • I don't care how high prioces go I pay just .06 per gallon

    How ??

You'll have to go to my profile and watch the featured video then ACT

I dare you to prove that I do NOT pay what I say

    .06 per gallon

    Bill

  • Its not the tax, its not the refineries. Its the New York Speculators playing the futures market. Thats it, end of story. They know they can get away with it, they know you are too stupid to stop them.

    FUCKING PARASITES

  • Finally someone sees the truth. Been saying this would happen for years.

  • Peak oil is here. They can't produce enough to meet the demands since OPEC has hit peak oil.

  • Ya know what? We can't do anything. We voted the folks into office who let this happen.

  • It`s $0.48 the premium gas here in venezuela

  • We must understand that high oil prices are not the result of an unregulated free market. On the contrary, the oil industry is among the most regulated and most subsidized of U.S. industries. Perhaps we need to ask ourselves whether too much government involvement in the oil markets, rather than too little regulation, has kept the supply of refined gasoline artificially low. Ron Paul

  • gas prices aren't so bad.

  • Debate all you want

I still only pay .06 per gallon see my profile and the Vid there ">06 per gallon"

  • .06 per gallon? that's too much. I pay "FREE" how? Im not telling you.

  • Hahaha, id love to be paying that little for my diesel!!! Come over to England, my Landrover Discovery 2.5 litre TD5 diesel costs me 109 POUND to fill up, which at the moment is 216 DOLLARS. And I get 20 miles to the UK Gallon.

  • Well, good for you. The tax on that fuel go to pay for that inbred family that rules you and that broken ass fucked up "free" healthcare you hand out to anyone that lands on your shores. Have fun, but not too much fun. Karl Marx wouldnt approve.

  • someone needs to start killing the C.E.O.'s Children then you'll see some gas prices go down.

  • I like your response.. they are the true reason why gas prices are so high.. fucking narcasist fucks!!!

  • I am responding to the Narcasist oil company CEO's.. they do make alot of money.. i mean there is more to this whole equation but they are in 1/2 part the reason for this whole BS in oil prices..

  • @Trikkerman3 Come on, would you seriously kill a child just to pay less at the pump?

  • Wasn't the Iraq War going to make oil cheaper? Wasn't Iraq oil going to pay for the war? Americans - screwed again

  • saw a vid on You Tube ".06 per gallon"

    It really works

The inventor is just way to smart

I have savedoner $65.00 in two weeks

    Alma Cleveland Ohio REALLY

  • com on American. you pay nothing for gasoline. you pay only 3,1$ for one gallon. we in europe pay about 40$ for one gallon.you have to pay as much we pay for it. the world pay only 103dollar for 52gallon oil to producents of oil.

  • pash-That's not the point of this discussion. You can choose your own hardship. What we are seeing here in the USA is an abuse of power. When was the last refinery built? Why are there not alternatives such as electric cars for example?

  • pash-As I just asked another poster, how much of those hidden TAXES boost the gas prices in many foreign countries? We don't pay nothing as you mention, it is substantial, and a hardship for many families. There are plenty of countries that pay less than we do. Far less. How much is gas in Kuwait, Venezuela, Nigeria, and Egypt for instance?

  • piss on europe. have a nice day.

  • Is anyone else sick of getting fucked by the oil companies? Those who are sick of the ass fucking i need you. I intend to organize a boycott of one company in america BP! I selected them because they are in most states. I will need support and protection - lots of it. I want the oil companies to know that they do not control this shit . . we do. The claim a shortage of gas so we have to increase the fucking price. Ok. Nobody buy gas from Bp until they lower the price to under 2.00. Soilder up!

  • I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada and I pay $4.00 a gallon, and in summer it's suppose to go up to $5.18 a gallon, and we produce gas here so why are you guys complaining? and our dollar is worth more than your falling dollar.

  • jack-A lot of the higher prices in foreign countries has to do with local TAXES or didn't you know that? I would like to ask you how much of your gas price goes into your FREE health care system or some other similar programs? Don't act like we haven't done our bit, this is a hardship for many Americans, do you think you're better than us? We import about 18 percent of our oil from Canada, so we our helping YOUR economy. Stop bashing.

  • about 40 - 50% is made up in taxes and none of it goes to health care and it's not free we pay monthly for health care and Canada is not a foreign country. I'm only bashing your government system, not the public.

  • Jack-I have nothing against Canada, I think that it's a great country, I've been to Quebec several times and the people were very nice. It's just that if you exclude the taxes your paying about $2 per gallon ,which isn't that bad. Here in the states same thing, depending on where you live it has risen dramatically, in some case doubling. This should have been dealt with 30 years ago. I feel that we are not given many alternatives, I can't just buy electric at any dealership. And I ask why not?

  • gas prices will go down when we get a dem for president,The only reason for the high prices is Bush.he invaded Iraq and the prices went up.

  • We need to destroy the mideast and take all their oil from them. After we do that, then we will start drilling our our own land. Combining both resources we can then rip them off for oil with the rest of the world. The Dems don't want to see that happen, which is plain stupid. We are allowing the mid eastern scum to grow rich while we pay for it.

  • the highest ive seen was 3.69 regular in new york and i thought that was high lol.where i live there is gas 4 2.99 regular its a bit ok

  • Buy a big gas sucking SUV and only drive myself around in it! Ha... Or... Be a conservative.

  • My car takes Premium gas. I'm glad I have a good Job.

I live in london ontario Canada... AND I HATE IT $4.52 for regular $4.79 Plus $5.23 Premium I hate it

  • Those are low prices.

  • I guess, if you have been in Chicago or San Francisco. I live in Chicago and last year a nearby station had regular for $4.09 for a few days.

  • Still low prices, I have to pay $9 a gallon, and at the rate prices are going up here it'll be $12 by Christmas.

  • Quoting George Carlin. "there are 11 million plus illegal aliens here consuming our oil reserves. Round them up & send them home. Bring our troops home & guard the boarder. When they come back Allow them to join the Army & send them over seas giving them full benefits. When they come back from their tour. Give them citizenship So they can pay taxes then they will not be so eager to come here" Good idea !

  • hmm thats interesting idea there

  • You simply stop consuming,Demand goes down and the prices will too. The consumer does have the power,Most simply will not admit it or simply do not care.

  • 4....economics lesson.... supply goes down(wells maturing), demand goes up (3 billion wannabes = funds hedging a position/trying to make a buck) where is the price going to go???

in the uk we currently currently take it up the bum to the tune of $8 per gallon. as a betting man i'd say the odds are on that whoever you elect come november 2008, chances are that you might not even have the cash for a bit of KY!

ron paul might help ease the pain though

  • 3....add to this Gehar(under correction= saudi's biggest oil reserve) is no longer self pressurized. (also under correction) furthermore non-opec oil production is plateauing or falling. in addition every single mutual, pension, retirement, private equity fund is is probably long on black gold. cont....

  • 2....whose presendential candidates aren't bickering about queers in the military, abortion, slavery reparations, guns control, blacks and whites, etc and have very favourable trade surplusses.....

the thing is, they also want to drive SUV's.

and have microwaves, washing machines, aircons etc.

  • 1...historcally the only "real" markets for opec were the US and Europe. 2 billion chinese and about a billion indians who work longer hours, are investing more in the education of their people, are investing heavily in research and technology across the board, whose kids aren't overweight and high, playing video games at the mall,....

  • The biggest reason why the price of oil goes up is because when we buy overseas, and the dollar is not as valueable as it once was, it takes more dollars to buy the same amout of oil. Oil prices aren't going up near as much as the worth of the dollar is reduced.

  • Fuel's up to break you down, and I don't feel any safer now.

  • War = high gas prices.

time2eject i currently live over here in the UK and i miss my 3 dollar gallons so much.

  • Personally I rather felt Tony to be more of a leader than anything we have now, regardless of the party. I like people whom 'lead the crowd' which is why I like Barack Obama. I am PRO Europe (I have a lot of family in Italy) and the Liberals are the only party to that tone and they want to reform the whole political system to somewhat match that of succeeding Scandinavian which have good healthcare and no crime or corruption, so they'll be getting my vote.

  • Ha! Well no I'm not. All I'm saying is that there are bigger issues and problems the the friggin gas prices. As for the UK taking it up the bum....don't even get me started on what I think about the administration here.

  • Thats nothing Zennie, sure its a lots for you Americans but thats because you've had it too good for too long. Now lets forget that we get over 2dollars for every pound sterling when looking at the price of fuel in the UK, its 1.04 per litre, per litre!

  • We already have WWIII... or is it all the fault of the Hind-Jews in India, the Filipi-Jews in the Phillipines or the Hispani-Jews in Spain?

  • The price of plastic forks haven't skyrocketed. The problem is not the supply but the demand. We are demanding more than is available at a given time, we can have gov't mandated caps (say $2 per gallon) but that will lead to gas stations running out of gas and lines at the gas pump, how would you like to go back to only being able to pump gas on certain days depending on your liscense plate?

  • A barrel of oil to generate electricity for use in a car STILL USES OIL...

Nuclear power emits no greenhouse gasses... idiots...

  • You nailed it on the head, you don't understand.

  • Well, you should expect them to reach European levels at least before leveling out... that is just an unfortunate fact.

The only way for our country to free ourselves of the problem is to search new sources of oil and new sources of energy. With Middle Eastern oil going up in price maybe the jump will not be so hard for us to make.

Good question, five stars for you.

  • Big surprise.

  • I can see that you live in a city, TRY PUBLIC TRANSIT, try walking, don't you care about the environment?

  • I care about my environment... that is why I carry a gun... Public Transit? Fuck you...

  • I have a gun too, I am not an environmentalist, I was just saying if you don't like the price of gas there are other ways to get around, it is a personal choice. Complaining alone doesn't solve anything.

  • It certainly IS NOT a war over oil with prices this high...

  • That is what I find so funny, people saying we are staying in Iraq to keep oil process low when it is what is primarily what made them high is ridiculous.

If we wanted to lower them we would be still letting the UN trade oil for "food" right?

  • Here in Europe we pay around 2 USD a litre, or around 8 USD a gallon, so think yourselves lucky.

  • you also have whole countries the size of our backyards so piss off

  • Wow well that kind of illustrates a big part of the problem right there.

    Size isn't everything...

  • Read up on peak oil! We need to get a different source of transport vehicle energy.

  • A barrel of oil to generate electricity for use in a car STILL USES OIL...

Nuclear power emits no greenhouse gasses

  • This war has taken Iraq oil out of the market.

War with Iran will do the same.

    Less oil higher prices.

Have you seen the movie "Goldfinger"? He couldn't steel the gold so he wanted to

destroy it so his own would be worth more.

  • good thing there was that war for oil.

  • It much worst in Canada and our dollar is higher.

  • I bet gas would be a little less expensive if we weren't in Iraq and Afghanistan right now.

  • According to a recent Reuters story oil would be $25-$30 per barrel less. This was when it was around $90/barrel. Imagine how much it will be if we attack Iran. I do believe when we started these wars oil was around $30-$35/barrel?

  • That precisely tells you it is not a war over oil....

  • Exactly! It's a war over non-existent barrels full of WMDs, Aluminum Tubes and Yellow Cake that happens to be costing us Billions in borrowing from the Chinese so that we can print Trillions of phony dollars which drives the value of the dollar down which, in turn, drives the price of oil through the roof. That accounts for the other $30/barrel. Glad we straightened that out.

  • There were plenty of WMDs in Iraq... Saddam even threatened to use them on us...

Nancy Pelousy said we shouldn't invade because Saddam would use them on our troops, even though there were none... BULLSHIT!

Nuke Mecca... problem solved all the way around...

  • If you were to go back to the Miocene Age, when mammals reached their greatest variety (19 millions years ago), spending one dollar every minute, day and night, seven days a week ($526,000 each year) you would just now run through your trillion dollars.

  • Of course it's a war over oil. It's a war to keep oil companies rich. The side benefit of getting nice contracts for Blackwater et al is just extra.

  • Nope... gas prices would be a lot lower in the USA if we were taking the oil... We are not...

  • Exactly. That's my point. The war wasn't about extracting oil but getting oil price higher.

Iraq is not producing oil so the price of oil is higher meaning more profit for oil companies. Plus our debt level has devalued the dollar so oil per barrel is now around $100.

  • No, it was a war about a mass murdering freak and his two perverted thug sons...

But, isn't it good for the environment if gas prices are higher??? Fuck, let's nuke Mecca... kill terrorism and stop oil in one big swoop...

  • they will go alot higher as inflation begins to consume the country.

  • INflation which is solely from the Federal Reserve is entirely the problem. Fuel prices reflect the market basket well

  • Favorite & OUCH yeah I feel it I take the lil

ones to school & back every & it's begun to be very pricey.

  • Those are not extraordinary Prices!

18 months from now....we'll be begging for $4/gal, when gas hits $6/gal.....

The Peak Oil Crisis has arrived, ladies and gentlement.....learn to ride a bike and get out of Suburbia fast!

What will the Gov do? Eventually they will ration and confiscate!

  • Unfortunately, their answer is probably to invade Iran. You know, because securing all that Iraqi oil helped stabilize gas prices, right? Sorry, I'm being stupidly sarcastic again. It's all the turkey I've been eating.

  • A gallon of gas is worth the same as it was 40 years ago! It just takes more federal reserve notes to equal that. Gas is an excellent indicator of the value of our money, perpetually declining in value.

If you take a 1964 90% silver quarter and cash it in you can buy a gallon of gas with the money you get for it. Sad isn't it? What did gas cost in 1964? 19-23/gl cents maybe?

  • Bingo!

These psychotic morons complain about gas prices and the run out screaming "No war for oil." OR... "Taxes are too low, but ATM charges are too high"... Idiots...
