I was at this game.....I arrived 2 hours early. The parking lot was ablaze with excitement. The arena was electric. And the Devils...well....what can you say.....they destroyed the Stars this night!

I wouldnt be so sure. Maurice Richard was a very well know figure when he played. And he filled the rinks in Chicago, Boston, New York, Detroit and Toronto with fans wanting to witness his greatness. Nice class by the New Jersey/New York fans here! RIP Maurice, Tu es mon idole!

I Remember this ceremony. I was there opening night of the series, I didn't realise how much Rocket Richard meant to the game of hockey until I was older (I was only 9 at the time) But after that the Devils Creamed Dallas 7-3, it was quite an evening.
