Agriculturally speaking the pesticides and herbicides are governed by regulations that, so long their distribution and usage falls within these regulations, you and I have nothing to say about it...However, I do believe we should be highly concerned about the limited and ever-dwindling supply of fresh water.

Even putting aside the complications, building dams is not a solution for most areas. A dam only helps to gather and meter out water that is already there on the way to the ocean.

Further worsening the situation is climate change. The glaciers in the mountains act as storage, much like dams.

There is an excellent documentary I watched last year called "Flow". The unbelievable thing about the worlds water supply is that much of it is owned and governed by private companies. It sounds ridiculous but in South America and India, even in the United States, companies have infiltrated Government and taken the rights to water supplies from the people. Governments do nothing because corporate mercenaries are sent in to negotiate deals for the resources, and if you don't comply you die.
