to get more bell sound you probably need more sine waves and less gliding/slew on the fm's

Thanks! The MPS can make many analog snare sounds. It's a good project. I needed analog drum sounds so I built it. I'd prefer the addition of VC Noise Decay, VC Mixing, and VC Impact Pitch to enhance automated variability. However I can get several varying sounds by sending an audio wave form into the VC Shell Pitch; for example I made very realistic metal sounds last night by ringing the Serge Q filter and piping the HI Output to the VC Shell Pitch on the MPS.

what can you say about the thomas hardy MPS? does it ever sound like a snare drum? I found there are some good ideas in his book.
