  • ?? Can you answer these questions ?? ?(In Truth)?

Ac:10:48: And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

    WHAT’S THE NAME??________________

Ac:22:16: And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

    WHAT’S THE NAME??________________

  • @octobermadison I'll pray for you brother ( or sister). I hope that soon the love of God will come in your life and fill your soul. And actually the last book that was written in the Bible was written in the 90's AD. About 60 some years after Christ died and rose again.

  • AMEN DebDummy PRAISE THE LORD THANK YOU JESUS

  • FRIKIN' AWESOME!! LOL!

  • Great Job 5 stars!!!

  • Great job!!!

  • i was hoping for the church version of the hallelujah by Jeff Buckly lolz! <(")-Penguin.~!~!~!~!

  • Glory to the Lord!

  • i had to sing in school omg it was easy after a month of practice

  • @rickylover23 it wasn't that it was hard for nearly as much as it was intense. You have to keep an energy for this^^ And we closed with it. Took all I had by that point to get myself up to those high tenor notes. >.> of course if we had more than 3 or 4 tenors to compesate the 100 girls we wouldn't have had to kill ourselves :p but it was a fun song to sing non the less. I sang it in walt disney world my senior year for the candlelight processional. That was a blast!

  • thank the lord halelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • badass song!

  • Spam in skype really goood!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • Hallelujah to you BMWandFerrari! Good for you! You're right, there is only one God and he's listening.

  • Lovely performance!

  • Hallelujah, glory to the Lord!

  • @jonashaiti Heretical bastard. You worship the heretical faith!

  • How, c'est vraiment super! I wonder if I can sing as beautiful as they do hehehe...

  • the big guy up there knows we are talking about him when we say his name, so if we say is name in a way that isn't in reference to him directly, it is taking his name in vein. The choir has a great sound too :)

  • beautiful

  • Good sound with 16 people! I do like listening to large choirs singing it too though

  • Glorious - just as Handel would have wanted it with 16 singers. Was waiting for someone to post it like this! With the interior doing the projecting the sound is immense. Thank you!

  • This is how it would be UP there.... kitakits

  • Beautiful just beeautiful

  • Beautiful...Beautiful

  • Beaautiful - thank you for sharing - Lance

  • God be with you, this makes me calm, Hallelujah!

  • add &fmt=18 to the end of the url to listen in stereo... :>

  • what are the lyrics for this song??

  • depends on what part you're looking at. look up a score. GOOGLE IT!!

  • Hallelujah for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth!

The kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of Our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever.

King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

  • OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMFG!!!!!!!!!! amazing :D

  • you should not take Gods name in vain....

  • You are not supposed to use God's name so lightly, which means oh my God can be taking His name in vain. And there is only one God.

and no one really knows God's name actually. and it's most likely YHWH, but still not sure if that is really God's name.

  • @BMWandFerrari figure tat over 100 million people use "oh my god" in a day, do you think old YhWh is angry or what?

hahahahah there were many many many gods before the "one" god you speak of......horus was the original story of jesus,....research it.

  • @octobermadison NO you are wrong. Are God is alpha and omega. Always and always will be God. King of Kings and Lord of Lords. One day you will bow down before him. Everyone shall bow before him. Repent before it is to late. God made Hell for the Devil not you. REPENT!!!!

  • @dennysm91 from your logic, god also made man correct? then if god made man, then man has evolved so rapidly that common sense says that there is no POSSIBILITY of a GOD existing. It takes an elementary logic to understand the concept of logic, and the same logic to defy it. good luck in the afterlife.................oh wait, you will be six feet under with no conscious.

  • @octobermadison im sorry but you are wrong. I wish you and so many people can see the truth but you have already made up your mind so no matter what i say your right im wrong. People like you are so arrogant. When you die you will be judged for your actions and you will say "but God give me another chance i see now". He will say its to late i sent people to warn you but you didnt listen and you will spend all eternity in regret. I really wish you would really seek God because you will find him

  • @dennysm91 oh geezes fucking christ...do you even know the facts on the bible? did u know that idiotic book wasn't composed until centuries after jesus supposedly died? its like some idiot today writing a book about some dude that died 300 years ago and tried to tell the world that he is the son of god....plus the story of jesus is not new...the egyptians had a veryyyyyy similar story about jesus...years before he was born

  • we sang this in the Zion Passion Play.

  • wow, that's suspense!

  • Excellent!

  • Bravo Rebel !!! Viva Haendel !!! :->

  • HALLELUJAH!!!

  • Soli Deo Gloria

  • hallelujah!!

  • Fantastic, just fantastic!

Calm yourselves, it sounds great, ok perhaps without the great "surround sound" that Handel wanted, but still fab!

I have heard this performed locally by a choir od about 15, the passion was there and it lifted the roof!

  • This is a great, great recording. The smaller group size is what Handel had in mind when he wrote the piece...and this group did a great job. The musicians were particularly good and very, very well directed.

  • YOU ARE SICK, GOD HELP YOU

  • Take a chill pill before you crap yo urself.

  • It is not sick to sing. Have you ever been moved to tears by the sound of your own voice? Music is the universal art form if you didn't know.

  • Yeah JW - I'm moved to tears by your voice too!! :)

  • Please calm down!

  • i sing it in the shower too

  • The choir I'm in and the choir from another school are singing together with an orchestra..and my gosh it's damn exhausting.[I'm a soprano] I've kinda quit on singing the high "King of Kings" and "Lord of Lords" part. This makes me wish I was an alto..Their part is way easier.

  • i have to sing the highest part, the " He shall Reign for ever and ever" and i a boy!

  • You must be young. Enjoy it while you can because it will not last. You will then have the good memories at least. Those will last you for ever and nobody can take them from you.

  • i am 18

  • Are these singers aware that this is a song of praise? The orchestra seems to be having fun, but the singers look sedated. They sound beautiful, no doubt.

  • they used to sing this every year at our schools winter concert. it was fantastic until some politically correct jerk took it out of the program!

  • The school im at now we sing it I'm an alto in it.. but we sing it every year for our winter concert w/ the band

  • Weird: I'm an alto and I just sang this at our winter concert last night! We blew the roof off the joint.

  • we only have 6 altos the yr before we had 4 we do go an awesome job for our size...at least i think so alto isnt very popular.. with most girls i knot it wasnt with me at first.

  • I wonder what it would be like if we could actually see the first performace of this song ever done.

I know it would be the same song but there are questions about the performance many of don't completely know. For example, did King George actually stand up during part of it?

  • My chorus is singing that, and its wicked cool!

  • Alto part is quite easy. Or In my opinon. I enjoy singing alto. I could not bring myself to sing soprano. I can sing both parts. I found alto to be much easier.

  • I like the fact that there isn't more the 30 people in this choir. People sometimes assume that this requires a chorus of 150. Handel never would have had a large choir singing this, so its good to stay true to the period. They are also using period instruments, which is cool.

  • I remember singing this song for Honors Choir

WE couldn't hold our sheet music though

    I'm a Soprano of course!!!

  • um my choir is doing this and sopranos have one of the easiest parts....all the other sections have lots of jumps and skips anyways sopranos get gradually easier throughout the piece while the other sections gradually get harder...if u cant sing high hun maybe u arent a soprano? or maybe u should work on your vocal range with a vocal coach....either way the only trouble our sopranos are having is the fact that therye not used to reading same note over and over again towards the end

  • Which Trinity Church was this?

  • Awe-inspiring!

  • we're singing this song for my choir, and im a soprano so i have to do all that high stuff, it's pretty difficult :/

  • And we love you for it. When any choir sings this song, it's so awe inspiring and it really impacts people (me, for one). Thank you. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs and I love it.

  • omigosh me 2!

  • ummmm, yeah.

The soprano part is not hard. Like at all! I'm doing the entire Messiah this year with my cities symphony and theres no "high" parts for a soprano. if anyone finds those parts high then they are not a true soprano.

  • we're singing this too. it's not really difficult (i AM a soprano). in my opinion it's easier than alto part, cuz they (most of times) have melody

  • mine is singing this with Chamber Choir, my choir(lady norse}, and men's choir

  • Dispiace dirlo ad un italiano, però è inevitabile che il futuro della nusica è fuori dell'Italia, i colleges dispongono di orchestre barocche. Facciamo pena!! Che vergogna! Bravissimi

  • very good.

  • waht is that song? i heard it b4

  • It is "Hallelujah Chorus".

  • wow really great...the men sound especially good in my opinion...my chorus class is learning this song to perform at our Christmas concert and it's SO hard to sing, it takes a lot of practice

  • Wonderful... reverent and reverberating!

  • It's hard to sing high, especially for how long you have to hold it on the king of kings and lord of lords

  • Why are they singing at a lower octave?

  • This is a great choir... My choir is singing this as well.

  • If I were King George, I would have stood too

  • We should all keep our religious opinions to ourselves. I'm just trying to enjoy a great choir. Thank you.

  • Awesome! Jesus Christ is Lord and reigns on high. He is returning soon for all Christian's.

    Maranatha.

  • amazing..you should hear my high school perform it every year at winter concert

  • Hallelujah! Truly Divine! Awesome! A true classic, in every sense of the word.

  • i always thought it was a custom to stand during the Hallelujah chorus. obviously not at trinity church.

  • Well the Trinity Church of which I was a member stood for the Hallelujah Chorus.

  • OK, guys. What "Trinity Church"? There must be a "Church of the Holy Trinity" or so in every major city in Western Christendom! (Or what passes for it.)

    Anyway, good job.

And dreuxschwartz, keep it up! Yes!

  • Trinity Church, New York, NY, USA -- at Broadway and Wall Sts. in Lower Manhattan.

  • Thanks! :)

Broadway and Wall? Isn't there a bit of irony there? LOL

  • I love this song; so beautiful. In my opinion, no matter how many times you redo it in however many different styles, the Choir SATB version will always be the most beautiful.

  • This is truly wonderful.

    But---then again----about 100% of the personal are paid/professional, now aren't they?

and i LOVE the lack/absence of vibrato!

    Martin

  • I mean you may not recognise our excellence...

  • Stamford Bridge Singers do a good rendition too! But as we are in the north you may not recignise or exellence..

  • I want to be their member. I also play violin and I can compose baroque music. I'm only 16. Everyone, please try this in piano ( D A D F# E A E G F# G E-- DD )

Hope you like it. I composed it...

  • The tune is not in the original scale which is in D major. I think they did it in C# major scale. Anyway, everybody's right. The sound quality is so good!

    5 stars! :D

  • sound is bit compressed though. Did U take this vid?

  • Outstanding performance........

  • whoa....you give me goose bumps....good job....i love ur tenors....they rock!!!

  • Excellent. The tempo is perfect. 95% of perforamnces race through this number. Thanks for the post

  • This song always gives me goose bumps. Everything from the vocal to the instrumental was excellent!!!! I plan on playing it many times on Easter!!

  • Wonderful! Beautiful music and excellent audio quality. Thank you for it.

  • Really good! I love it....Great altos ;)

  • this is why i LOVE episcopalians so much... the episcopalians are seriously like the last keepers of GOOD classical music. This is probally my favorite choir of all times

  • Luved it very much superb bass and music!
