For us being a common Muslims it is more important to accept HIM (SAW) the last Prophet of Allah and follow his teachings.

you are very much right, but unfortunately we need to really understand that if the wrong Akeedas that would take us to the wrong path. So along with following the teaching of Prophet (PBUH) we need to clearly understand the correct thing.

I have heard from many Ulama that its not permissible to write Darood-e-Pak in abbreviated forms like "SAW" or "PBUH". So always write complete Darood-e-Pak.

Salam, i see where you are coming from but when a muslim sees the phrase ''SAW'' they wil not litrally say ''SAW'' they will say Sallallahu 'Alaihe wa Sallam. so if you do write it in short inshallah there is no problem because the intetntion is that the other person reading it will say it properly
