  • hasrat jaipuri had actually written these lines as a love letter to this then girlfriend Radha, many years ago. Raj Kapoor was so impressed, he named Vyjayanthi Mala's character Radha in the movie.

    Shankar and Jaikishan had a friendly agreement, that their songs will always be credited as SJ, irrepsective of who the original composer of the tune was. However Jaikishan accidentally and unintenionally disclosed that this was his tune.
