  • lol i love uk

  • aaaaaahhhhh George most perverse thoughts with someone who is not I am condemned

  • it hurts, I need the choir of john...

  • I agree with dagman9 but i think is not just paul have talent, john and ringo too. And of course my sweet George. The four had talent for that reason they were the most popular group had the world ever seen. Beatles forever

  • very well said dagman about the beatles's individual talent..mind if i post this on fb??thanks

  • The best way to measure how great the beatles were as a band was what each individual did in their solo careers.. No other band had this much talent

George- Made the best overall music

    John- Delivered the greatest message

    Paul- Made the most money

Ringo- well.... Ringo was a somewhat popular actor

  • @dagman9 Paul "made the most money"? You must know nothing about the Beatles. Paul wrote the most beautiful songs. In fact, most of Beatles popular songs were written by Paul, as well as most of Beatles #1 songs (fact). Please be more respectful to one of the greatest musicians ever (if not the greatest).

  • this is awesome :D

  • yes drool

  • Sorry my ignorance. Is Ringo on the guitar? 1:36

  • @fujiwarataku That's fucking Eric Clapton.

  • o cara manobra na guitarra.

  • Hahaha at 1:00 I think George realizes that he messed up the lyrics XD

  • 14 people have no ears.

  • I cried so hard. But in a good way :)

He IS one of the best songwriters ever. Makes me wonder why he was so uncomfortable with it, and he had most of the beatles well know songs. This such a sweet song. He's so sexy! ;D

i would trade justin beiber for him and John back anyday :)

  • @doglover52

He didn't have most of the well known songs, thats just silly. But he had some and that was a great achievement.

I would even trade in a lot more artists to get back The Beatles. And can we get back Elvis and other great artists too? What else do we friggin' need music-wise?

  • @alex4allofyou yeah getting elvis would me nice :)

    and Buddy Holly :D

  • Comment removed

  • did he forget words at 1:00?

  • @jevonsekk yes, he did and was gracious enough to realize that it was funny. "Cos it was funny. One of his biggest songs and he got a little nervous chuckle. George was a very cool man.

  • 14 pure idiots

  • This is one of George favorite and mine too!

  • this song written for his wife Patty Boyd, who later went on to marry Eric clapton who wrote layla about patty Boyd. As an aside, her sister Jenifer was with with Donovan, sho wrote Jennifer junifer, these two sisters had a total of 5 songs written about them, by three of most famous band members of the 60s, Clapton Harrison and Donovan.

  • @Cimiar yh...but donovan

  • 1:26

  • a timeless beautiful song

  • SOMETHING .... SO SPIRITUAL.. SO....SAINTLY ...... ABOUT GEORGE.

    Something that makes you Smile!!!

  • I played this song at my schools talent show and sang it as a tribute to george....and thanks for writing for this beautiful song George RIP, Hare Krishna!

  • GH denied writing this about Pattie(only when he was married to Olivia) also when in interviews with Clapton present! I believe he wrote this for her and loved her and just made many mistakes that all young men that marry young make.I believe he was 23 when he married Pattie that was 21;too early for each of them;if they had met and married in the 30's they would probably be together;but the "pressures of greatness got to both of them"plus Clapton didnt help by overtly showing GH his love 4 PB!

  • great song! & great performance!!! thanks for the song George

  • this is a look a like come on

  • @overban888 pretty sure its harrison mate.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain wat do u mean they wrote this

  • @JamesTKirkCobain: Pretty sure the Jonas Brothers weren't alive in the '60s....nor in the '70s, when George did this concert.

George Harrison is the lyrical genius who wrote this.... dumb ass.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Wow. You make me want to shoot myself. Good job. Only a person as moronic as you can remotely negate the greatness of this song. Written by one of the greatest musicians of all time, George Harrison, for one of the most beautiful and lovely women of all time, Pattie Boyd. Fucking thanks for contributing to the decline of society.

  • @devaom420 I will donate the first hundred bucks toward getting this mother's basement dwelling dweebish troll fixed. I don't think it should cost that much more if you pass on the anesthesia. I will also volunteer to hold the little screemin pansy down if one of you will do the cutting.

  • @q12tube Even though I have some vows of peace, I may need to cut a bitch.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Them idiots do good to write their names they're not worthy of puttiing flowers on this mans grave! jonas's are merely 3rd rate rookies compared to this man or any of the beatles fool!

  • @julyman08 is he comparing the beatles to the jonas brothers?? no sh*t???

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Are you kidding or are you just fucking dumb????

  • @JamesTKirkCobain for your sake i hope you're joking, and if you are, bad joke.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain I feel sorry for you. I would be violent, but George wouldn't approve.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain

News flash: Jonas Brothers weren't alive when they wrote this.

    Research something before annoying us.

  • @JamesTKirkCobain Fuck you.Fuck the Jonas

  • @JamesTKirkCobain this was a few years before they were born dude

  • @JamesTKirkCobain The perfect example of the Ignorance

  • so very missed **)

  • i fell in love with this song

  • George was an amazing songwriter- and I'm glad he and Eric were friends-2 great musicians working together makes songs even better like Clapton's solo on George's While My Guitar Gently Weeps

  • Que hermosa canción,un homenaje al amor,GEORGE SIEMPRE VIVIRÁ EN MI CORAZON ,al igual que los Beatles el mejor grupo de todos los tiempos.Ilove you George.

  • greatness

  • truely the greatest guitar player ever

  • @guitarguy474 what about eric clapton?

  • beautiful!

  • Stunning.

  • Stunning.

  • George you wrote and sang beautifully. I hope you have attained moksha, Hare Krishna!

  • George may have whiffed on a couple words, like Ringo did in the same show. The whole concert was thrown together really quickly, and i believe they did two shows that day. Maybe they were gassed. I've heard Jimi Hendrix sing entire verses out of order and acknowledge it immediately, right on stage. i do not care. I'd pay anything to watch George, Ringo and Jimi tune up, sing, and play whatever the hell they felt like, however they felt like playing it.

  • and maybe the song had stopeed meaning anything by then, if it's a love song to someone you've fallen out of love with (ahem Eric) you might not really care about getting the words right.

  • George...te admiro, eres grande como guitarrista, como cantante, maravilloso...y como ser humano...único.Descanse en Paz.

  • My wedding song...love it!

  • @alpino22 I want this one, and I Me Mine as the waltz.

  • creo que te amo george !!!

  • I prefer the version on "Abbey Road" but this is great, too- how wonderful (and rare!) to be able to see George sing this live.

He fumbles a few of the lyrics but still sounds amazing.

  • John said it was the best song on Abbey Road. Guess they're jamming on in now. Play on, gents!

  • the most wonderful love song ever, dont grieve just enjoy

  • the most wonderful love song ever, and, dont grieve just enjoy

  • Happy Birthday George!!! 2-25-2010

    We Miss You Soooo Much!!!

  • George Harrison a pesar de que compuso poco relativamente comparado con la mancuerna Lennon- Mc Cartney tuvo temas insuperables como AND YOU BIRD CAN SING - SOMETHING - HERE COMES THE SUN - ITS ALL TOO MUCH - WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS - BLUE JAY WAY - THE INNER LIGHT - WHITIN YOU WHITOUT YOU- TAXMAN - OLD BROWN SHOE entre otras,..... arrida GEORGE...

  • It's a pitty that Ringo doesn't play the drums in this concert the same way he did on the record.but still he played it in a very good and sensitive way.

  • el guitarrista de los beatles con mas talento y esta melodia me remonta aquellos años de su gloriosa carrera George el mejor

  • I miss the original drum riff for the bridge. :(

  • I swear I'll play this at my wedding :)

    <3

  • tears in my eyes

  • Geoge, RIP. You'll always be in my heart... I love the way you play the guitar.

    Happy New Year?

  • i have lived in great musical times

  • esta cancion me conmueve hasta las lagrimas.....

  • George was such a great artist and person...He is just immortal. (L)

  • Great vocal and guitar performance by George! That tone....

  • the other Beatles took too long to respect George and his writing.

"you know I believe and how??"

    r.i.peace

  • This song...

    its just perfect...

he was really in love of her, and allways was.

  • wow what an amazing and moving song

  • G for George? G for GENIUS!

  • @LaughterCigar Yeah!

  • It's KINDA sad, but he looks alot older than he actually is, it shows what smoking can do to you. Amazing Person, gone too soon. DDDDXXXX

  • Smoking has nothing to do with his type of brain cancer.

  • @jrm167jrm Brain cancer? I thought it was throat cancer.

  • @Ozzgree it was throat cancer that spread to the lungs and thats what killed him R.I.P George

  • Comment removed

  • yes i was misinformed..... apparently it was throat cancer. My error. I believe it was reported as brain cancer at the time but..... my memory may be faulty.

  • @jrm167jrm officially it was lung cnacer from smoking, ut rumors from the hospital said he was being treated for a brain tumor as well according ot wikipeida.--who knows- all the rumors and mean things done to celebrities.. what really matters is George died and it is sad. and the message is: don't smoke.

  • he was GREAT!!!!

  • ♥RIP My Sweet Lord♥

  • What a beautiful person, that's all I have to say.

  • Today is the eighth aniversary of George Harrison´s death. Rest in peace George, you will always be in our hearts...

  • lol i love how ppl think john and paul kept george from putting songs on albums... george wrote many songs and performed many songs for the beatles before they started making albums.. george martin was responsible for what songs went on albums.. Lennon/McCartney are the best songwriting duo ever so they got more. There was no conspiracy by them to keep George from writing music for the band lol

  • Is it just me or is this song just beautiful. One of my fav Harrison songs.

  • pattie boy o boy...d!

  • Holy horseshit batman

  • one of the few times he didn't say ''you stick around jack it may show''

  • At :55 George completely forgets the line so he sings the only lyric he can think of. Luckily it fit. I don't care, I still love the man! My sweet lord, he's so damn sexy!

  • Great vocal and guitar performance by George! That tone....

  • Holy crap I have the remastered version of this exact song

  • Pattie must have been some kind of a gal'.

"Something" and "What is my life"?

Both written for her by George.

Then "Layla" and "Wonderful tonight" written for her by Eric.

Thats gotta be some kind of record?

    She was kinda cute though.

  • pattie is just TOO LUCKY........

  • George was the best Beatle in all ways, as a musician, as a composer and as a person.

The best beatles's songs are george's:

    1- Something

2- While my Guitar Gently Weeps

    3- Here comes the sun

  • cant agree, P mcC was thehero of the band!think of the best... hey jude, elinor rigby, dont forget, live and let die, must i name the most famous song??but lennon rocks the planet!!!

  • Live and Let Die it's not a beatles's song. Lennon and McCartney only allowed one or 2 george's songs per album, htat's why the most good songs are from them. But George, with the few songs that made it to the albuns, is the best:

Taxman, I Me Mine, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, Here Comes the Sun, Long Long Long, Piggies (great ironic song), Think for Yourself, Within Without You etc.

  • Such an amazing song!!!!!!Georgie was the right Beatle for this song!!!!

  • Wow, how's this for spooky irony- the heroin-addicted Eric Clapton is playing on "Something," the song George wrote for Pattie (his wife), the very same woman Clapton coveted and couldn't have (not then, anyway)- and that unrequited love drove him to heroin addiction! Man oh man. Poor Clapton, what a mess his life was at that time. It's amazing he's still alive today.

  • must've been kind of awkward! oh god, i lovee George. <3

  • fuckin wonderful song, absolutely love it.i wouldnt say george was the best of the beatles cuz i dont think there is a "best",but iv always loved his songs."what is life" is another one of georges greats

  • Thank u George 4 one of the most beautiful songs in history =)

  • The Beatles are known mostly through George Harrison's songs. It's true. Think about it.

  • I don't agree at all.

  • I don't think so. He did a lot of great ones, but it's not like he made most of the Beatles catalog.

  • Comment removed

  • i disagree completely, although in saying that harrison and lennon are my favourite beatles, and some of george's songs are my favourites of all time, including this song which is 1 of the greatest love songs ever written in my own personal opinion

  • no its not, most memorable songs of the beatles are not from george, theress probably 50 songs from the beatles that are very well known world wide, and george mad a few only, his songs are great, but not universally great as yesterday, michelle, let it be, strawberry fields, etc... George´s few songs from beatles era are masterpiece, but beatles are known for so many songs,

  • i smoked some grass with Pattie and 2 of her friends called Ginny Manning and Eadie, but i dont know her last name.

the three of them befriended my father.
