I have this same camera but never used it- none of the lenses that came with it match the sizes listed on the rotating viewfinder. I didn't like the idea of spending hundreds on 16mm film, developing and miniDV transfer only to discover the shots weren't framed right. Can't wait to see what your experience is with it, and what the footage looks like.
@ChesneyDigital It is hard to find the right lenes for cameras like this, and I hope the stuff I shot will come out lol. Just have a bit of film left to shoot then hope for the best!
@super8punk Can't wait to see it, there is NOTHING like film! Which viewfinder setting are you using and with which size lense? Have you actually been able to use that teeny tiny crystal ball-like side viewfinder to see thru the lense? Mine is all fogged up. Also, are you planning to pay for transfer? I always use Spectra film & video for awesome Rank transfers, but because of the cost I'm thinking about just trying to use my HD camera to re-capture the film for a small project.
@jack2breeze Just got the camera on sat, everything seems to work fine on the camera, going to buy a roll of film next week and shoot some stuff at the park with my son.
@SayCheezyPicturez Shot some stuff around Vegas and with my son, still need to send it off, have two rolls of super8 film I want to shoot also. Going to send it all off at one time cheaper that way lol
Beautiful camera! Thanks for sharing :)

@super8punk Very cool. I for a moment they looked like TV lenses.

@brecht3 The ones that are in the video clip are, they came with the camera, took them off and put my Bolex lenses on the camera.
