I almost only just paint or draw horses. its my passion. but I get into long ruts, where i feel my art sucks, or im not capable. Then I dont even start a painting, i just stop doing any art for months!

Ive jsut done oil and acrylic paintings, but im itching to do a water colour now, thanks so much for bringing my enthusiasm back!

I know this is a couple months old, more than that really, but he said he used 200gsm Cartridge paper. There's plenty of illustration boards out there designed to be used with water mediums, so yes, you can use it.

I was wondering if you or anyone else had tips on paintbrushes, I bought some new ones and as soon as the brush was dipped in water the brushes frayed and I don't know why, can anyone help?
