Makael is always making excuses for the Knowles. Janet is NOT Khia's manager. Mathew was Kelly's manager. There is a difference. Skorpion you are sooo right on this one. Every point you made was spot on. You made a great point about Destiny Fulfilled. I never thought of it that way. Khia always blamed everyone for her failed career. Why do you think she was on a reality show? I do believe Mathew took stuff that was probably booked for Kelly and gave it to Beyonce instead. Thats just my opinion.

I feel that its all about the look and the sound. Many people are as talented as beyonce and any other hot star, but they dont have her sound. They have a unique sound.

You all give Kelly and MIchelle Williams too much credit....I think that they are both marginally talented. We would NEVER EVER EVER have heard of either of these girls were it not for the incredibly talented Beyonce. They don't have the stage presence, drive or ambition of Beyonce....PERIOD.
i appreciate your opinion but I do not agree with you. Kelly and Michelle are just as talented Beyonce. Each of them were under the same management, her father. But the promotion wasn't the same. I'm not biased against her, I have every Beyonce album made because she IS very talented. But she didn't have the best voice of the group. Again, I love Beyonce but she isn't the music industry. Also, each singer has a down time. Usher went through it so Bey will go through it too.
Beyonce is not incredibly talented. She was just promoted the hardest because of her father and mother, point blank. I think Michelle and Kelly are just as talented, with the latter having the better voice out ot the group. When I think of incredibly talented, I think of Mariah Carey, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston before her drug addiction, and so on and so. Beyonce doesn't come close to those ladies.

Just one more comment about Destiny Fulfilled was a lauch album for all three Girls. It was not just Beyonce singing lead. They all were, and one of the biggest things for Michelle was pushed to the front to show her strengths. I love Michelle the best to tell the truth. I got people hooked on her. She was on alot of morning shows ;) I know she will succeed, but she needs to get more people in Europe on her boat.

Makael is right, not everybody has a IT factor , Kelly can have some great songs but she needs something for people to gravatite to watch, her on stage. You're right. If Kelly had left Mathew and came with Ms. Kelly she would have had a better chance but now she needs an album like The Writing's On the Wall to save her. Her performance of Like This at the BET Awards was awful. When she performed like 3 sons on GMA they were all bad. But when she was on tour with DC she was amazing.

However I looked it up on the 'net and I agree with Mikael that the dress was not that great. The bottom part look like a cheesy lamp shade to me. The gold roses, stood out more than the shape of the dress and overall, I think the dress would like elegant if not for the lamp shade bottom and gold roses.
Also: when Kevin says that Destiny's Child was built around making Beyonce a star. I also DO NOT think that is true. If that were the case, there would be no Destiny's Child. Matthew would have just had Beyonce to come out SOLO. Now, I think that Beyonce, because of her natural star quality, that she was at the center of Destiny's Child. In other words, I think beyonce was the lead of Destiny's Child because she is honestly more talented and easier on the eyes.

i appreciate your opinion but I do not agree with you. Kelly and Michelle are just as talented Beyonce. Each of them were under the same management, her father. But the promotion wasn't the same. I'm not biased against her, I have every Beyonce album made because she IS very talented. But she didn't have the best voice of the group. Again, I love Beyonce but she isn't the music industry. Also, each singer has a down time. Usher went through it so Bey will go through it too.

Beyonce is not incredibly talented. She was just promoted the hardest because of her father and mother, point blank. I think Michelle and Kelly are just as talented, with the latter having the better voice out ot the group. When I think of incredibly talented, I think of Mariah Carey, Patti Labelle, Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston before her drug addiction, and so on and so. Beyonce doesn't come close to those ladies.

Just one more comment about Destiny Fulfilled was a lauch album for all three Girls. It was not just Beyonce singing lead. They all were, and one of the biggest things for Michelle was pushed to the front to show her strengths. I love Michelle the best to tell the truth. I got people hooked on her. She was on alot of morning shows ;) I know she will succeed, but she needs to get more people in Europe on her boat.

Makael is right, not everybody has a IT factor , Kelly can have some great songs but she needs something for people to gravatite to watch, her on stage. She might be a great performer and we don't know it, because the SHINE was on Beyonce since Jump, and I do think DC was created for her. It takes a manager, record label, stylist, producer budget etc. to make a star. It's all about who is in your corner. A car takes parts and those parts got to work together in order for the car to move. It takes everybody. I don't blame bey but I don't like girl groups that don't let everybody get there shine. i am a bey fan, but i am not a yes man. it took me a while to get into bday and i only listen to some of sasha fierce. now my young divas i live for is j hud and i do have to say there is only 1 christina aguilera song i don't feel. i am scared for ms rowland, but i do think people slept on her last album.

Lastly, I love you guys and I love skorpions accessment and Makael's.. I really do. i watch yall everyday. But I think Skorpion more than Makael has double standards. I dont think thats not fair. LMAO. Kevin, you do look like Mr. Brown with those PJ's on. Anyway, I adore Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. I caught the last half of the awards Sunday, so I missed Beyonce's dress. However I looked it up on the 'net and I agree with Mikael that the dress was not that great. The bottom part look like a cheesy lamp shade to me. The gold roses, stood out more than the shape of the dress and overall, I think the dress would like elegant if not for the lamp shade bottom and gold roses.

Also: when Kevin says that Destiny's Child was built around making Beyonce a star. I also DO NOT think that is true. If that were the case, there would be no Destiny's Child. Matthew would have just had Beyonce to come out SOLO. Now, I think that Beyonce, because of her natural star quality, that she was at the center of Destiny's Child. In other words, I think beyonce was the lead of Destiny's Child because she is honestly more talented and easier on the eyes.

I love you guys!!! But I must say, I think Scorpion is wrong for saying that you cant blame Janet for Khia's downfall, but you can "kind of" blame Beyonce.
Like Makeal said, Beyonce was not Kelly's manager and Kelly is he driver of her own car. I think it is no EASY to always put the blame on Beyonce bc she is always the subject of ridicule. In other words, Beyonce is an easy target. I dont think thats fair. There should not be a double standard

i disagree with two things: skorpions whole logic about the "DESTIN'YS CHILD" built to make Beyonce. Why I do? because there are so many solo artist who started out as solo artist....,most eho dont have half the talent that Bee has and they have become successful. Why would Beyonce have needed Destiny's Child?

...Me, I actually loved the dress ( the back of it had a victorian style - i liked the folds in the back) but I totally disagreed with the decision she made to not wear jewelry. ...
and was it just me or did Bee look a lil stressed or old on oscar night. Something about her didnt look usual...i dunno.....
