@no1xfactor For reasons Arik is going to Cal, I cite Shaq Thompson's commitment video where immediately after Shaq committed to Cal, he walked up to Arik and said "You're next." Arik is very close with the other Cal commits and leans, and his primary recruiter is Tosh Lupoi, that fact should speak for itself. This year, unless I'm mistaken, Lupoi has yet to lose a recruiting battle. The man is incredible. Besides, you're an Auburn fan, you had a great class last year, let Cal have one too :)

Arik has tweeted more than once that for him, regardless of where he attends, he will EE, and start school next Monday. Auburn's classes started last Monday. If you follow his guidelines, the only schools Arik could be considering now are Cal and ND, and EVERYONE should know what school he's picking from those two.

Coach Tosh Lupoi, who has coached two first round draft picks, and CAN coach at a very high level as well as recruit. Biggins, the West Coast guy at ESPN, is a mediocre journalist who has been known to post false info, and let his bias get in the way. but we've all seen 5 star recruits, as well as number one ranked ones be a bust. not saying he will be. im sure he will be a solid player on the line. but he does fall on over half of his pancakes and blocks.and when the speed picks up at the next level, he may find himself on the ground alot more. it's just that my high school team is very well coached. quarles record at maryville is 180-13 over the years and we have made many 5 star players look bad because of well coached technique

he's a beast at the highschool level indeed. but i do see problems he may encounter when he goes to the next level. he has clumsy footwork and doesn't get low enough to the ground. good coaches in the ncaa expose things like this. if he works on his form he will be great. but ive watched well coached players in high school handle players like this through technique. im not hating, he is def very talented and physically dominant but lacks great football i.q. lets' see what he does next year

@no1xfactor For reasons Arik is going to Cal, I cite Shaq Thompson's commitment video where immediately after Shaq committed to Cal, he walked up to Arik and said "You're next." Arik is very close with the other Cal commits and leans, and his primary recruiter is Tosh Lupoi, that fact should speak for itself. This year, unless I'm mistaken, Lupoi has yet to lose a recruiting battle. The man is incredible. Besides, you're an Auburn fan, you had a great class last year, let Cal have one too :)

Arik has tweeted more than once that for him, regardless of where he attends, he will EE, and start school next Monday. Auburn's classes started last Monday. If you follow his guidelines, the only schools Arik could be considering now are Cal and ND, and EVERYONE should know what school he's picking from those two.

Cal will most likely end up with the best defense in the conference for the second straight year. 6. Cal has 32 players in the NFL versus Oregon's 22. Cal has 6 All-Pro caliber players in the league, Oregon has one. 7. With shitty coaching that never adjusted its game plan, an offense that was incredibly easy to predict, and a mediocre QB, Cal still managed to be 7-6.

Cal has the best facilities in the Pac-12 now, when asked about Cal's facilities, DJ Foster, who had visited both Oregon and Cal said that Cal's were "easily the best in the conference". 2. Cal offers the second best education in the conference behind Stanford, and has among the best educations in the country. 3. Cal does not recruit thugs. Cal knows Oregon is one or 2 Ngata type DT's away from being unstoppable so they stockpile DT's knowing that they will all get worse and that Oregon makes thier players better. Coach Tosh at Cal is just like Oregon old Basketball coach Ernie Kent. The man can recruit like no other problem is his recruits get worse and not better once they arrive on Campus just like Ernie Kent recruits did. Coach Azz at Oregon can coach like a freaking champ and makes his recruits better once on campus he just can't recruit. Coach Tosh Lupoi, who has coached two first round draft picks, and CAN coach at a very high level as well as recruit. BTW, those two first rounders, they were both only 3* coming out of high school 9. Much closer to home, for Arik. 1 hr 45 min. drive to Cal, opposed to an 8 hr drive to Eugene or a much more expensive plane flight 10. Family can watch every game! Go Cal!

Everyone knows Oregon runs a gimmicky offense that doesn't translate into NFL success. DJ Foster told Greg Biggins that the Cal facilities are "easily the best I've ever seen" while on his official visit to Berkeley. If you need a refresher, DJ visited Oregon, and saw their facilities back in October. It's hard to play second fiddle now, isn't it?

After Cal lands McCarthy,Hamilton, and Armstead they will have about 15-20 4 and 5 star DE/DT's on their team while Oregon only will have 2 four star and a bunch of 1 and 2 stars. But yet Oregon DL will still be better. Why you ask because of coaching Tosh can recruit but he can't coach with poop while coach Azz can coach but can't recruit. a 25,000 foot weight room on the 6th floor overlooking 1 of the 3 new indoor practice rooms new locker rooms and maybe even better one while keeping the nicest locker rooms in the Country as well 2 indoor movie theater one for O and one for D to watch game tape.
