ohh i'm sure the gm hammerhead's make up all sorts of stuff trying to make sync look like a joke. they know it's easy cause of ford's poor quality from the 80's that they are trying to carry on. times changed. so they can hop in their Z71 and get stuck in wet grass and call onstar for help

first off, i traded in my junky 2007 avalanche w/only 1200mileson it for the 2010 f150 and i love it, the fact it sync`s with my phone in stead of onstar ripping you off .this truck blows away the comp.FORD, doing it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sync system is buggy. I have the 2011 Ford Mustang with the Shaker audio system. For some strange reason, my iPod gets stuck on the same track every other time I shut off the car. Previous track or next track won't work, so I have to restart by saying a new command. Sometime it resorts itself to AM radio. The thing has a mind of its own and does whatever it wants to do. Damn Gremlins!

my only problem with sync so far is how picky it is about meta data tags... will not recognize songs without complete meta data... and you can't use your ipod to control things when synced

ford's quality is the same as Honda and Toyota. They might of slacked off in the 90's but they're coming back. They didn't take the bailout from the government so they have to be doing something right or people wouldn't be buying them.

Sync is cool. To those whining about fords quality, according to JD power & Associates, fords quality and reliability is now on par with Foreign makes such as honda, and toyota.

I totally agree with you... A couple of years ago I had a Hyundai Pony (sedan) GXi2 .. embarrasing telling people I had a hyundai, but in appearence and driving feel it was like a little mitsubishi evo, Not as powerfull, but loads of fun for the money and great handling.. I loved it. Before that I had a Ford Escort (Mk I & II were the only good ones) I hated My Mk5 escort from the day I bought it untill the day it died. Its not so bad theese days, but Hyundai don't get the recpect they deserve.

i know im making an ass out of myself comparing Hyundai to BMW but you cant say it doesn't have quality sure it doesnt have German quality but its better than American and as good as a Japanese car but that doesnt matter and will never matter because it a Hyundai that what people see and how they feel its embarrassing i admit when i test drove it i was little embarrassed but you gotta give it up to them they made a good car

I gotta admit it, I used to own a Galloper 6 years ago and it was...how can say it, It was fun to drive and I never gave a shit about ppl nor the embarrassment for driving a Hyundai. the problem was I encountered critical engine issues after 2 years of CLEAN usage and started hating the car because of that so I sold it at the end but I gotta say the truth, I enjoyed driving the car.

Regarding quality with the German manufacturer, I guess it will take way long time to go par with BMW but hey, it is an open market and ppl are different in terms of taste. as for me, I will never buy a BMW in the future as it has a very high Running cost as future-wise ;)

try a late model ford they i work on all kinds of cars and ford has done nothing but aggressively improve quality and many things are higher quality than toyota and honda when they were way behind only 5 earlier the only thing toyota has over ford is the market i still think honda has a higher quality small car but ford keeps up with toyota and nissan in most things

to be honest ive never driven a ford but ive driven plenty of domestic rental cars. i used to own a tsx 1st gen and i was very impressed with the quality, esp since they make those in japan.

well ford like is said is increasing quality i don't know about the last two or three years but have worked on lots of fords 95-07 (used car dealer) and there is no comparision i also worked on 2004 tacoma very disappointed with the downturn in quality i was planning to buy the truck for my personal driver before i saw how kia_ish it was made although i don't know of any problems with the focus i still think honda I4 are way better than anybody and Nissan v6 and ford v8 but all are competitive

One problem I have with Sync though is that every time I hook up my iPod, it's gotta index for 30+ minutes, which takes up the majority of my commute.

wow really? such a cool piece of technology, i'm sure they will improve on this...i personally hate fords, but i like the direction with the partnetship of ford and microsoft...there next step should be making a ford brand version of GM's "Onstar"
