what was the CGI movie clips you put up? I mean the pilots and stuff. Which were good, but a bit bizarre to see live action suddenly change to CG, but what can you do with clips you didn't make :). Love this one by the way.

Well, his robot did reveal itself to be the devil after Adam (in a pool of period blood) was relieved of the Spear of Longinus. This before a seemingly endless torturing of Auska and Rei turning into an a giant angel and exploding.

It was MEANT to be pretentious and ponderous though i think XD.

Well the Evangelion robots were created to fight the 'Angels' and after the angels were presumed defeated the robots were locked underground. When the angels return Shinji (son of the director of NERV, the organization that monitors angels and keeps the Evangelions in storage) is enlisted to pilot an Evangelion and the war begins all over again.

Good job on the trailer; nice moive clips for it to. The one part that made me laugh was at about 1:32. The sound was off just a little. But still good job.

Wow. That was insanely cool. Plus, I'm shocked how quick you saw my comment and made this thing. Total A+ work, especially considering how hard it must have been to find stuff that fit. Also, I agree with you about the ending. Stylistically it was awesome, but conent wise, I think they could have done a lot better with the subject matter. But that's me.

Also, Ode to Joy is alright with me, but if your bothered by some of the others here bugging you about it and decide to do what you did with that first Alice trailer, might I suggest 'Air' from Suite No.3 in D major by Bach if you can get it? It's the music that plays in EoE during Asuka's final fight, and it goes surprisingly well with a fight scene.

Personally I think the Ode to Joy makes it a bit humerous... But I have an odd sense of humor, so ah well... Still a really cool vid. I don't know anything about the series though... Never did watch Anime...

It's a reference to the show's film which played the same music during the fight sequences. An odd decision certainly, but I wanted to stay faithful.

My only complaint is that you don't hint to the Angels, which is what made EVA something other than "another giant robot bash-'em-up" for me.

I couldn't really find any approximates. I tried to include a quick clip of one of the Sentinels from the Matrix which vaguely resembles the first angel, but they were too recognizable.

I used The Legend of Chun Li, Enchanted Arms, Project Slypheed, Armored Core 4, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, The Matrix Revolutions, Transformers, Knowing, Ironman, Speed Racer, Terminator Salvation, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Universe at War, and Killzone 2.
