this no lie has inspired me to do something like this for my senior project. i know you used after effects, but did you have a green screen? if you could give me as much detail as you could about this video i would really appreciate it. great vids man.
haha thanks! Yeah the paint splatters are prettty easy but the paint bleeds were a little tricky. i just created black lines in flash 8, imported them to AE cs3 and i used the stroke effect to create a path and it is great because you can control the timing so well with that effect as opposed to the write on effect.

i found that with after effects that the best way of learning is just by dabbling with the program. This was my first AE project
