  • Exactly, this guy said there was no housing bubble either! Please don't listen to the men who misguided us before. Ron Paul has a better solution, its called the ACTUAL FREE MARKET. Not government still involved with 999 or 666 or Dominos Pizza or whatever it is.

  • Herman is running a fake campaign, these people just don't see it. i hope he sticks around for a while because he's going to make these 'experts' look like idiots when they figure it out. He'll soon have a 0 - 0 - 0 plan.

  • I guess Laffer plays SimCity and believes in the power of 45 too.

  • 9-9-9 plan should increase exports, why they don't boast this is beyond me.

  • it is called repealing the 16th amendment. der.

  • Pay Schiff Laffer! Be a man and give him his penny already!

  • @real934, is that all you can come up with? Really? Guess you can't do anything but use unintelligent rhetoric to dis on one of the best candidates.

  • The way he speaks it's like he's been sucking on Cain's cock for hours

  • Fox News is ignoring and attacking Herman Cain. They are beholden to the Republican Statists and if you don't think so name one Reagan Republican on that staff, there are none. All the Republicans on Fox are establishment and Bush loyalists. They are not interested in the American people getting truth, just fair and balanced establishment policy spin. They want Romney to continue the corporate crony policies that have been strengthened by the Bush/Clinton and little O Monarchy.

  • Herman Cain with a SOUND foundation for a resurgent America!

  • @asgaard636 Yea like a 9.99 pizza plan is gonna save everything . What a JOKE!!!

  • His only plan is to gives you taxes! How can this be a wonderful plan? Give tax breaks to big corporations and tax the poor. 9% no matter what! Then it will just rise over time. I am a critic! 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999BSBSBSB9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

  • Any of you here are economist???

  • Herman Cain is so full of bullshit.

He calls 999 a flat tax. Cain’s website says the individual tax base is determined via (gross income less charitable deductions ) Totally pandering to the religious zealots.

Cain is OK with the government choosing winners & losers when it comes to what organizations will qualify as a tax exempt and government supported organization

  • 9-9-9 is from a video game. No seriously, look it up. This is such a joke.

  • How in a world payroll tax is regressive? Is he joking?

  • @Aschmedai it cost the employer money based on the employee, so it hurts any working person. The tax on the employer directly effects the employee, especially when it is as direct as the payroll tax.

  • like he said, it's the hidden taxes that cause high prices. So many things we use everyday have them and then the corporations w/their tax loopholes along w/their ability to shift the cost to products or services, put burdens on poor people. I'm all for the free market but when politicians, w/their legislation, make it easy for corrupt corporations to cheat the system then it takes its toll on the economy.

  • Help Save America Vote Herman Cain for President.

Art laffer got the 2008 mortgage/ financial collapse wrong, so did Mr. Cain. Just watch the links please and open your eyes.... Both him and Cain are clowns. You are WELCOME.

  • Art Laffer is a bloody LAUGH thats for sure...

  • Laffer is a sick joke

  • @2cOthers

    So are you!

  • Art Laffer also thought our economy was wonderful. He bet Peter Schiff that the housing bubble wouldn't go bust. Though he only bet a penny, he hasn't even paid it to Peter.

  • @MooseOfReason he definitely made a big mistake there, but that doesn't discredit all of his ideas or his achievements as an economist.

  • @Mezey5 That's true. But I still have reservations about 9-9-9. What do you think about the creation of a national sales tax, that future Congresses would have authority over a new tax rate?

  • @MooseOfReason A consumption tax is better then an income tax so i like it, its no different then the income tax in the sense that the government can jack it up. The great thing about this entire tax plan is it makes everyone pay taxes, so you can't play the class warfare game.

  • @Mezey5 Right, but under Cain's plan, the government would have both the income tax and a sales tax. If you just did away with the income tax and replaced it with a sales tax, it would only have the sales tax.

  • @MooseOfReason True, but i see this as a step towards that goal, as art laffer said, its a step in the right direction.

  • @MooseOfReason

For people who need a reason to not trust a word this guy says.

How some people are continually given air time after being so unbelievably wrong is beyond me.

  • Currently the consumer pays ALL TAXES for the products and services they buy.

ALL OF IT. No money comes from some mysterious place where business owners find it.

Every cent comes from the price YOU pay.

So rallying to make other people pay more is you calling for money to be taken fro you at the register.

There is no such thing as the producer of goods and services paying the consummers to consume products and services.

  • Talk about the kiss of death... an endorsement from a discredited hack who's theories have proven to be demonstrably wrong.

  • @RedTory59 just like the one video you made.

  • @MWJEFF1 /watch?v=lYkFYdLTTw8

    YOU'RE WELCOME... 999?

    How about 000?

    0 IRS

    0 FED

    0 WARS!!!

    RP 2012, ENOUGH SAID.

  • @benandreas369 RP will be 77 in 2012. 8 years older then then oldest president to ever assume office, Ronald Reagan. I can't wait till he is dead so you Paulites can find a new messiah to spam every video about.

  • Pure, and simple. He is planning to raise the hard working poor, and lower middle class taxes. If you make $20,000 a year expect to pay at least $1,000 extra in taxes. If make $35,000 a year, and have 2 kids expect to pay at least $5,000 extra a year in taxes. It would be one thing if he was offerring to reduce the wealthy taxes, but he wants to do it on the backs of the poor. The man is going to tax groceries for crying out loud. Beware to all those who are poor.

  • @DK3CHAMP That's not the plan. First of all , there is no such thing as "hard working" poor.in America

There is a reimburse on the the lower rates. But no one will be in them. The reductions of payroll taxes and compliance costs will allow the employer to provide more competive salaries.

  • @2002lees

This is an extremely ignorant statement. Do you really believe that no one who makes minimum wage is hard working? There are people who work their tail off who make substandard living. Maybe they lack the intelligence or social skills in order to get a better job. But that does not mean they are not hard working. Also low paying jobs are the most competitive now a days. You have 100 people in line for a job opening at a grocery store.

  • No income tax, period. We don't need the IRS army chasing after everyone.

  • How about 0-0-1
