How about throw them in a strict GOOD, CARING rehab w/medical attention so they don't suffer or DIE from withdrawl, instead of jail where they just let them suffer and what's gained upon release from jail? NOTHING but more problems for family who hv to help b/c they can't get a damn job now(addiction can happen to anyone btw). How about coming out w/a clean start and a shot at a new life and good job?HMMM costs as much to jail them, I'd be proud to see my tax$ go to HELP not persecute an addict.

The problem with opiate addiction is prohibition of the drug.

Most oxy addicts gravitate to heroin eventually. Heroin is cheaper and usually stronger than oxys. Columbus has been a source of heroin for decades!
