It's actually called JJ, which is a sequel to 3D World Runner. Although it was inspired by Space Harrier, 3D World Runner did introduce several innovations: it was the first third-person platform-shooter and the first stereoscopic 3D shooter.
can anyone help me? I'm looking for a nes game, and I cannot remember its name, it was like the seicross, but better, I think it was set in the future, with hovering kind of bikes....and then you shoot everything on your path....thanks
Enix is awesome, before the merger with Squarenuts they didnt have any bad games. Squarenuts however had already converted to making every character look like cameron diaz wearing a fur coat. Enix Rules.
People like to blame Enix even though Dragon Quest owns Final Fantasy in gameplay. Thats their only series that hasn't sold out to the graphics whores.
I though KH was their final project without Enix, they made number 1, Enix was with them for number 2 though. Kingdom Hearts is the only non turned based attack rpg I like.
@LoneWolf7575 Its the same people behind the games today , nothing has changed. If you want to blame someone for Final Fantasy's demise blame Tetsuya Nomura.
finally !! i have been searching for the name of this game i played long time ago and now i finally can search for its rom to play it again.world runner!
I was searching for this video for same reason !! I loved World Runner :D I remember when my father bought me World Runner and Amagon, those were the greatest times :D
Whoa whoa whoa, back up a second! You're telling me Mystery Quest was made... by SQUARE?! Whoa! I'm looking at it in a whole other way now... and I mean that in the best way possible!
square's early games were so shitty before final fantasy, some company or dude threatened to cut square from the gaming industry bc their games sucked so bad, and they really had to bust their ass, and came up with final fantasy
What a nice collection of Square titles & to think that only Final Fantasy, Rad Racer 1&2, 3-D World Runner & King's Knight made it to the U.S.. What a pity we never got to try out that Egyptian-themed RPG, Cleopatra no Mahou (Magic Of Cleopatra).
looking at all these games, no wonder was almost bankrupt lol

Some of these games looked pretty fun. I wish they would release some of these on Virtual Console translated.

If only Squaresoft stayed as Squaresoft...then all their future Final Fantasy games would be better than todays FF games.

Ty. Enix sucks and is taking Squre down with them.
nodogyougay48 2 years ago
i fully agree on you with that one.....squresoft's last final fantasy was the best....which is X....which was their final project without enix

I haven't heard of most of them, heh. World Runner looks pretty ambitious for the mid-80s.

Is it strange that a Japanese company is the only one (I've heard of) to make a game based on classic American Literature?
