  • Nobody does Shady Grove like Doc Watson!! My brother(now deceased), turned me on to Doc Watson back about 1983, and I couldn't believe how talented he was to be blind. He's so incredible.

  • my uncle plays with doc now i see him @ sugar grove every year

  • Why are the idiots in the crowd talking during this unbelievable performance??? Shame on them. They ought to shut the hell up and pay attention, they might just learn something.

  • Does Doc play with dennis anymore?

  • seems that he plays with alot of people depending on the venue and the region. Jack Lawrence is accomponying Doc at this gig. I believe they are long time friends with a history of collaboration.

  • Correct, 1st time I saw Doc play, it was with Jack in 1984 or so. I met Jack years later when he was working at a guitar shop/luthier in Charlotte. Great guy, but not the best player when he's had a few. ;)

  • Thanks! Who is the other guitarist?

  • jack lawrence

  • @bnotrod He is amazing
