I like to see punk these days, even if some of it's just fashion, at least it represents a stream of thought among the yoof leeding gawdnoswear. *(==)//
Good film. In my opinion, Punk fashion doesn't really mean to dress like the stereotypical punk: Mohawk/Spiked, Colored Hair, ETC. Being punk is dressing the way you want to. Thats hardcore.
hey Ive read Sid's biography, and it is mentioned that the lads were hanging out at Vivienne Westwood's store when they met and she decided to design some of their shirts and pants and stuff and their first ever shows were played at the actual Carnaby Str. store. She picked up on their trend of "safety pins everywhere" and later on she ejected it into high fashion, but at the time things were much more genuine than they are today in the fashion business. It was more about rocknroll than anythng
this make me some what happy that all of this shits dead....i mean you got one guy that may be the who stared it but then you get all these fuckin fags that have to finish it....
interesting point...I would have to go with the fact that it is a a revolution, not a fashion...only coz..I see lame ass conservative kid's wearing "punk " garb, but none of the punk heart....they have no idea what punk is!
