Farnham has an amazing voice - obviously. But, Shorrock had the "original investment" of writing songs like this, and (I'm biased) knew that it wasn't about the grandstanding. These (Reminiscing, Cool Change, etc.) are "understated" vocal songs - and I don't even think that Farnham enjoyed recreating them. Just my opinion. It's always tough to meet the original - let alone beat the original.

@westone4u Graeham Goble wrote a good portion of their songs, including this one. Glenn Shorrock and Beeb Birtles wrote the majority of the rest of LRB's songs.
