its only 2 steps.... because the first step to what you think is 3 steps.... hes dribbling on. so thats not a step. then he picks up his dribble and jumps back one foot at a time. thats 2 steps. this move is legal. and if you travel with 3 steps, most refs wont notice because theyre complete idiots.

@comcre92 Not a travel. It's considered stepping into your shot and establishing a pivot foot when you pick up your dribble. When you're dribbling, there is no pivot foot but when he steps back he is picking up his dribble and establishing both feet. He can then either choose which foot to pivot on or jump for a shot.
