I installed vista on mine on my C drive... planning on using pqservice to go back to its original XP now it doesnt work and vista is going to be invalid this sucks....

all you had to do was use easuse patition master to partition you drive seperting it in xp and vista c drive for xp and make d drive vista and then you wold bo ok but scincei have 2 year warrenty with mine im ok

It detects almost any driver automatically, anyways Acer has a list of their One drivers in their website

Aunque realmente si lo actualicé 1.5 gb, el modem, bluetooth y 320 gb no me interesan realmente, no creo que un netbook pueda ser el equipo de uso primario, por lo que estoy contento con sus actuales características

De todas formas el procesador no se puede cambiar.

"Aero" es el tema, el transparente es denominado "Aero Glass" y se activa por defecto al instalar el controlador de video de la página de ASUS

there are lot of ways, I installed many games and mathematica 6.0 on my aspire one by setting up in wireless web with my other windows XP PC, I can load cd ans dvd from the other coomputer to thisone and install programs, if programs need the cd to run just download the "no cd" or "no dvd" crack from internet :)

Would the intel atom 1.6Ghz processor with 1GB of Ram be a better performer that a P4 2.8Ghz. with 1GB of ram? Thinking about changing laptops...

I'm not sure, it has a lot better performance than my last laptop, sempron 2800, 1gb. I have not complains about its speed and responsiveness (I am a very power user), but I have a powerful desktop to do the hard work

It's not a dual core atom. It just has hyperthreading. Mobile atom dual core does not exist yet.

Now I am with 1.5 gb ram and Vista runs very well (compared to my old Presario m2000 laptop Sempron 2800/ 1 gb ram). Almost 800 mb of ram continuously free (I don't install any of the Acer drivers, not even Synaptic services, or so).

It feels a bit sluggish compared to original XP Home UMPC version, but I like the user experience in Vista.
