Boeing 737-700 takeoff from Chicago Midway on Southwest Airlines

Midway Airport is boring. Being so dominated by Southwest Airlines, the thrill is gone. It used to be full of so many different airlines. Unfortunately, ANOTHER result of the bad economy. Losing alot of great airlines.

I worked for TWA for 35 years and I miss flying a lot! I was a flight attendant and later a Flight Service Manager... oh the sounds of that takeoff brings back memories!!! :)

I noticed the pilot reduced the thrust of the engines tremendously, after takeoff...is this because of noise abatement rules in chicago?

These are really great vidoes you have uploaded! I love flying around to but I have to fly on Ryanair from Dublin so its all the 737-800 :D Love the -700s. I mainly fly domestic flights within Ireland with Ryanair and also from ireland to the U.K :D
