Love the DUUL. I've been wearing out the VivaLaFrance, Wolf City, and Hijack albums since 1976. I am catching up on all of their other stuff now on YT. Putting together my Amon Duul playlist as I speak so I can then rip the whole lot onto mp3. Yesterday, I was ripping down Hawkwind and Motorhead for my mp3.
Düül forever!! Düül hören = Märchenstunde!! Ihr lieben ich habe fast alle Platten von Euch!! Düül 1 Psyc. Underground hard stuff but okay.... PHALLUS DEI und WOLF CITY sind STERNSTUNDEN der tiefsten deutschen Psychedelica!! Henriette Krötenschwanz - wo bist Du?? Ich küsse Dich!!
I remember the name but for the life of me cannot recall listening to this band all those years ago where when why and whatfor....mind you I was seldom sober then
First time I crashed on his sofa I nearly had a heart attack. One of the speakers was about 2 ft away from my head.. The volume on the Trio amp was set at nearly half volume. Blinding track. ; )
And your voodoo blood is glowing, under (?) the world. And the greyhound leans back, in the Presidents chair. Thousands of children, on their way home, gasp...... for fresh air. - - - - - - On a wall I see, many strange signs. They say .... Johnny Be Good. I think that's what he sings. I love this song. I love this Album. (^_^)
This is psycedelic, spacy, progressive Krautrock. This song must have been remastered. I like the '70's vinyl version better. The '70's version is spacier.
viele leute mögen dieses stück nicht, was mir immer unverständlich war. für mich eines der highlights aus einer großartigen platte. hat einen groove, der mir schauer über den rücken laufen lässt.
Splendid recent BBC4 program about - The History of Krautrock, all the usual suspects were on there - Can, Faust, but I had not heard of this band before and now its like - groovy baby.
@DiggermanNo1 The years 69-74 Are what you want. After that they tried to be a normal rock group and made some of the worst muzak ever known to man . Also see Hawkwind and Nektar [ Same years] Hwkwind proved to be the champion of this music and are still going strong today !
Both psych and prog. Krautrock, space-rock, whatever you want to call it. I call it awesome..."Wolf City" might be their best album, though "Vive La Trance" has some incredible stuff on it, too.
saw this band live in england, aylesbury, circa 1974 one of the best live acts i ever saw, also got every album they made and still play in my car to and from work every day.
one day someone will hear and say i know that band and i will meet a soul mate.
Saaaaaweeeeeeeet !!, one of the better tracks from this band, fuckin great on yer ipod when your in your happy place flying up the autobahn on a street fighter doing 180mph !!.
YEEEEEEEEES. My computer has decided to hold my music to itself, the original LP is sat on the shelf in my parents house far away and this was added but a day ago. It was meant to be.
@d51386 Michael Tsarion is the worlds premier conspiracy researcher/lecturer/author. Dr. Bill DEagle, Jordan Maxwell, Leo Zagami and Alexandre Dumas pere are highly informative as well. p.s. Melting Euphoria is similar to Ozric Tentacles and Gong.
Great jam. Almost wish the lead vocals were replaced with another instrumental hook of some sort.

A mate of mine awoke to this every morning.
He would cue the arm having set the time clock.
