I use Nanodots Black Edition and I cant manage to build this thing: When I wrongly attach one of those tubes to the stump, I cant get it off without destroying the whole thing and starting from the very beginning.
The whole thing is very very unstable for me, while it looks stable in your video...
@pitthe123 Try to put your fingers between the parts when you're about to attach them and move them slowly out as they get closer to each other. There will be a point when they are not attached yet but you can feel whether it wants to attach as intended (having the correct polarities). If it's the other way, you can still remove it without any problem.
About stability: yeah it's a bit fragile until you put the stabilizer dot pairs. Just be careful :)
after a lot of fraction, do the Nanodots get scratched and used up? Like, I want to know if these things last long, especially after seeing you make many videos and crushing them all together
@szakiii Hay I got a question I have 1080 dots (5 sets) and I can build any thing just about with out haveing any problems at all. I want to advance higher but I need more dots(I don't have alot of money) I'v talked to the nanodots custumer service I have a camera and about 100 subscribers on my youtube page and I want them to send me some more dots for makeing videos.send me a message if you can help me out :D thanks
Oh my, that has to be one of the most complex builds I have ever seen. Well done! I bought several sets of those magnetic ball thingies and just completed my first Dodecahedron Frame by your example. Took me about an hour lol. I think I'll practice some more before trying this baby. This is just insane :-D

@HouseCrafts Now that's not true at all. I think you misunderstood the real meaning of 'fake'. It means when someone tries to sell a similar but usually much lower quality product under the same or very similar name for a lower price. I know little about Cybercube but as for Nanodots this doesn't apply at all. The only true statement is that Neocube was before Nanodots but Nanodots evolved more in less time than Neocube in a longer period of time.
@szakiii And not to mention Nanodots are better in quality and resistance.
I have Both NeoCubes and Nanodots and i can testify that even that ive used Nanodots more - their still well coated unlike the NeoCubes that are now peeled in more than a half of each sphere..
Nanodots is a bit pricier but it still worth the quality of it!
The price difference between The Neo Cube and Nanodots are quite big. How much better are the nanodots? I'm thinking about geting something, I will probably buy the neocube since the price difference. What do you think? Are the nanodots way better than the neo cube? Or is the difference small thinking about the huge price difference?
bueno no se si ablas español pero si entiendes esto me gusto el video y quisiera saber donde benderan esas bolitas que son imanes o algo asi bueno eso es todo gracias
@scopemania1 If you go to thenanodots(dot)com and ask for a shipping quote, you can select UAE and you'll be given a price. So my guess the answer is yes, you should try.
ur pro i got idea with 216 magnets (i bout to try this in minute) make a hollow 6x6 cube then make each side have hollow piramids to hide the cube it'll look awsome i hope :)
is nano dots paying you to say they are better than neocubes. neocubes were first after all. they are probably paying you to not say anything about paying you so it probably doesn't matter if i ask or not but i'm curious
I bought three sets of these, and thanks to a shipping error, they're sending me three more sets free in a separate shipping. ^_^ I'm still flailing in glee.
@Cytka100 This is a very old comment I may have missed it that time but the number of positive votes demand a (new) reply :)
Right now I have 15 sets of v1 Nanodots, 10 sets of v2 Nanodots and I still have a bunch of my old Neocubes.
I would not consider the latter tho because they are a bit dirty (my hands like to sweat) and the coating started to brake down in spots here and there too.
I did and the video material was already recorded. But my hard drive started to malfunction and so far I've not been able to recover the raw video. Neither do I have time to re-record it at the moment, so I'm not sure when it will come out.
Using 8-balls rings instead on 6-ball rings in basic building block you can build shapes with similar approach, but cubic symmetry. For example, using 36 building blocks on 24 balls each (3 stacked 8-balls rings) you can build a 3D "#" shape.
Actually not exactly. One alpha set is 224 (I have 13) but I've only bought the first eight. Now an alpha set costs $25 but I think my eight ones were all $30 at the time of buying. The last five were a gift from Neocube for my videos :)
wow nice, im gettin a neocube alpha set, i ordered it 2 days ago, cant wait to get it, i have wanted this for awhile, anyways thats awesome how many u have, and u got 5 from neocube for ur vids? i think i kno why, ur vids r awesome, lol
