Hi guys ! My animation consists in many tga targa files , but the alpha files always misses and I have no idea what to do with my 2 months work so ... tried even premiere and media encoder but nothing please give me an help !
I cannot play any rendered file :( This is pathetic. Whatever I render it doesn't play. Codec problem of x64 Windows =[ Nothing works. But a nice tutorial :(
@jpgforza Dont you just love it when things work out? haha Good to hear mate. I dont actively make tutorials, only when I cant find one and I have to figure it out by myself. That said, if you have any questions or requests, if I have time, I will try help out where I can.
@jpgforza You are going to have to explain your problem a little better before I can help you. Which program is that in and what setttings etc are you using to render with?
@FrozeSniper08 Depends really. The problem with rendering straight out of 3DS max is that it renders massive files and sometimes it cuts the video short once the file it is rendering to gets a certain size. If you render as pictures, if your render stuffs up, you just render from the frame it stopped at. One you put it in after effects, it never takes very long anyway because it just sequences images and render time out of 3Ds max is virtually the same for PNGs and AVI files anyway.
@FrozeSniper08 No problems. I just made this video because there wasn't anything out there on it at all. If you ever get stuck in 3DS max thought, shoot me a message and Ill see what I can do to help out.
@CoDisafishy No problem. I know a lot of random things about 3DS Max and After Effects so if you have any more troubles just hit me up on here and ill see if I have any idea/know somewhere that can explain.
@LordovDemise no problem. I thought there would be a video out there for this and I spent hours trying to work it out so I thought I would save another person the trouble haha

I have a question is it faster to render this way or would it be faster to just render from the 3D Max
