SHOVE THE FUCKIN VUVUZELA UP YOUR UNCULTURED ASSHOLE WORLD CUP RUINERS I HATE SOUTH AFRICANS BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Since the murder of Eugene Terre'Blanche, I would hold off all travel until the storm rolls over. The government has been inciting violence against white farmers recently, and the death of the resistance leader is sure to cause trouble.
@DaSlug32 you still have a lot to learn...hmm its always interesting to see what you people write about our beautiful country and I bet ya one million pounds if "south africa" wasnt in africa we woulndnt get so much heat
@DaSlug32 we in 2010, But then again, I am not sure if you know of a philoshy that cities die and live again, social patterns change all the time we adre not stegnant life is motion and urban fabric reweeving is continous you cant just stop at one place, we are ahat we are now and in the future our city will change. L.A wasnt the safest city to go to in the riotz.London had the fire, People think twice about America becuase of its terrorists threats..its life it changes.
I visited Johannesburg one moth ago, and if I can recommend you something, so it is really good 6-shot (gun) :-/ It's really nice place to visit, but best place to leave.
Only a 25 minute drive in from the Intercontinental Hotel in Sandton: How about an evening walking tour from Berea, through Youville & finishing with a refreshing night-time stroll through the quaint and once trendy neighborhood of Hillbrow? You may even get a chance to test your athleticism by seeing whether you can outrun a group of contemporary Zulu warriors. If you desire to try this adventure, make sure you go alone and that your cell-phone is fully visible.
Believe me, this Nelson Mandela´s square are the only place ( and some 2 km2 around ) where tourists can walk on fresh air WIHTOUT BEING RAPED OR KILLED by nothing.
Believe me when i say that Johannesburg is HELL ON EARTH, far more than my city, Rio de Janeiro, that is another peculiar HELL.
This video is trying to convince people that Johannesburg is a nice and beautiful city, and doesn´t show that Johannesburg is the most dangerous city on the face of EARTH on a no civil war country.
huauhahua sorry, but if you think that this is the reallity here in São Paulo, you are definitly wrong...
This is the reallity of rich people in social mixed neiborhoods like Morumbi. In more
homogeneous neiborhoods like mine, life is safe and great.
Believe me, São Paulo is swiss comparing with Joburg. Here there is no racial hate and no racial crime. Our only problem is social and economical abyss. ONLY THAT.
yes you are right people don't live with racial crime and I must say well done, but I remember when I went to Sao Paulo, in 1990, it kind of freak me out to go from the hotel in Jardim Europa to a gated community of my dad's friend because I could see like 5km of shacks in the morros and when I came to live to Johannesburg in 1993 I saw how well planned were the neighbourhoods and organized.(anyway it was in the last apartheid year).
@richardomus have you been raped and killed your self? have you been here? ... I think our city is awsome because we arewho we are and really dont give a rats ass about the world and the world just hates us because we are a thriving country on a "black" continent, Fuck globalisation South africa is a beati and you can take that and smoke it then shav the pipe up your behind
I love how tourists can only wander safely around in an area of perhaps 2 km. This film really doesn't illustrate just how secluded you would be if you be from the rest of the city. Not that anyone should explore jhb without going with someone who knows the joint.
Welcome to johannesburg, home of 50 murders a day lol

South Africa looks like a typical capitalist country. What happened to the dream? How sad.

@CeltsClaire "Land of the BLACK thief." Funny you define a thief as a person that you see stealing from you...
Think that one through

I think that more HELL is Sao Paolo. At least people don't have to live in gated comunities surrounded by a big shanty town
