Man, this video is pretty harsh. If I didn't know any better I'd feel like I was alienated from my own friends looking all mean and trying to proselytize to them in order to convince them that I was right so that our pineal glands could all shoot lightning bolts through the same clip-art magnifying glass. I guess these are just the terms I'm going to have to be on with all my passive aggressive atheist friends.
@BaileysBeads I kind of feel like a dick for responding that way. My only defense is that I grew up in a southern baptist environment where the bizarro world christian version of this video takes place and it's normal to include your religion after your name when introducing yourself to someone.
@FastJohnnyNardGard You don't have to feel like that at all. I understand the value of not alienating people with harsh language. It often only forces people to retreat in their own convictions and shield it.
But when it comes to debating active apologists for a certain religion, the glove is off.

What's also valuable is that it gives people just the option to consider the other view. That should be the ultimate goal of a constructive discussion, if people the consider it from a neutral state and still reject it, then the goal is still reached because eventually you want people to draw their own conclusions either way.
I think baileyBeads is right. As long as there is no proof given one should have doubts. All religions have different ideas of God. Some are indeed like fairy tales.
Others, like Buddhists don't believe in it nor do they deny God. Is it the uion of emptiness and bliss? Resulting in phenomena or is it the 99 names (attributes) assigned to Allah? I am myself not satisfied with the answers given but I hope that one day shall will be fully satisfied and un-pitch my tent from hell.
The proof of God is not in the world, the proof of God is in the heart and mind after you have foun him. Its a different understanding, a different perspective, a different strength....you look for it, and one day its like a light. Once you can show that a god can exist then you must show that out of every possible deity your God is correct. So far no human religion can do this because no human religion knows what a god is.

We feel that God has created this universe, us and everything else, by looking, thinking, examining and such, the truth may be found. why? Having God or gods in my life makes my life better. It's the old tried it without Deity, didn't like it. It was cold and boring.
I am under no obligation to prove the existence of Deity to you or anyone else. Why do you keep asking us to do this? If you sincerely want the enlightenment, do your own work. Yes, I know that was sarcasm. I and many others who enjoy the presence of Deity in our lives, simply don't care whether others accept it or not.
