What's the correct protocol for dealing with tardy delivery people? Usually I tip 25% if my food arrives on time. If the food is late, I deduct 5% for every ten minutes beyond what it should have reasonably taken to get there. Is this too lenient? I feel like delivery people, particularly in New York City, should know the value of hustling and punctuality. An hour for a delivery from four blocks away is a pathetic joke.
