this is better than a 911, a 911 cant go on the same terrain that a hummer can, a 911 cant take along 5 people and their luggage for a ride and still get there in record time. it handles just like a 911, ive owned both, and accelerates (i had the turbo) just as well.

You can't say something is 'absolutely better'. Only better at some thing, or for someone. A Porsche 911 purpose is not to tow or to drive in deep mud and snow (neither is Cayenne, though it should be). They don't handle/accelerate the same. And a Cayenne with 5 people + luggage would weigh 2780kg (6129lbs) with a huge amount of that weight riding high up, making it a dangerous handling vehicle, not to be trying to go anywhere 'fast' with.

Feelings of superiority and power to intimidate others on the road (sitting high in a very heavy vehicle). Ignorance too (actually believing it to be comparable to a 911 in steering feel, handling, performance). There's many reasons.

But for just seating more passengers and cargo than a 911, there's cars much more similar to the 911 than the Cayenne. For example, the Audi RS6 (having high truck like ground clearence is exactly opposite to what anything sporty and fun is about, and also bad for safety).
