  • I remember watching this race. The track @ Darlington was freshly paved. The only thing that changed in this race was that tire ware was less excessive, but crashes were not reduced by any means, as the 95 Transsouth Financial 400 was longer then some 500 mile NASCAR races due 2 alot of crashes! NASCAR was a hell of alot better back in the 90s!!

  • Yea man, these were the days of NASCAR!! Bob Jenkins, and Benny Parsons doin the commentary

  • I grew up watching ole David Pearson. See I was in2 NASCAR b4 Earnhardt ever won a race!! Darrel Waltrip was fairly young when I first started watching. In College when I was at East Carolina University, there wasnt much TV then, so what we did get, on Sunday's I would go down, get a case of Busch, and get shitfaced while watching it!!

  • Cant believe how long this race was gonna be!!

  • Boy, ya no Jenkins, and Parsons and those commentators really knew their racing, but no 1 knew Darlington like the drivers. U can tell that they no that even though Darlington got paved, but the drivers still respect the track

  • I guess I had 4gotten that "The Lady In Black" got a new coat prior 2 this race! That still didnt change that backstretch though, or turns 1 & 2. Boy, back then it was a lot more fun 2 watch a race. They give u the history, like they do here with David Pearson. Now days, boring.

  • This was a great race!! I couldnt remember a better NASCAR race! Racing was awesome inthe 90s!

  • I remember taping this onVHS back then. I found it on youtube, and Ive been watching it constantly, I didnt realize until getting to see this on youtube, how great NASCAR used to be! I loved Bob Jenkins and Benny Parsons. They made you a part of the race! They had real knowledge of the sport! This was a heck of a race

  • I remember watching this race live at home. It was such a good race I watched it again on ESPN New Years Eve Marathon, when I was

    14 y/o
