  • No-one is born gay period. They changed the truth of God into a lie. Even a dog hasn't changed his nature but man is so sinful. The only thing faggots are good for is burning.

  • @xdbzxbrolly u disgust me! How can u say that someone just wakes up one day and says oh i wanna be gay today! That is not how it works, its not a matter of god but a matter of science, and biology. I was born gay, i've always known i was gay and i know i didnt choose to be gay. Why would anyone choose to have rights or to be hated by millions? noone would knwoingly and willingly choose that. Also christianity does not teach you to hate so if anyone is going to burn in "hell" it'd be you!

  • I'm gay. You're born gay, trust me.

    End of discussion.

  • I have an idea...... ask a gay person?

  • I wish my country was this progressive. We're working on it bit by bit! I'm not even gay but I support gay rights. I don't like seeing my government discriminate against innocent people.

  • Hm. For all poeple who think you are born gay... what can you say for all those out there who where gay for the majority of their lives and then suddenly decide they want to turn over their lives to God and then have no desire anymore? I mean there are some men and women who were in relationships for 10-20 years with the same partner then all of a sudden they do a 180- and the majority of them are excited and find more joy then they had previously. So... how does that work?

  • @midnightpredator18 And just to let you all know before you answer- there is a difference between being homophobe and not agreeing with theories. I love gay poeple. I don't nessisarily like that they are gay, but I can't change that or even try to for the,. I have a couple gay friends even. I don't hate gay poeple i just don't agree with the lifestyle. Love the sinner, hate the sin. I know that I am very much a sinner in my own ways so I'm not trying to be high and mighty- just pointing out some

  • truths that seem to be convieniently overlooked in this society.

  • @oddtreenow2 shut the hell up..do you really think someone would choose to be gay? Choose to be pick on and mocked for the rest of their life..ppl are born with different feelings..so shut the fuck up untill your more educated

  • @djthebestthingever You think being more educated is raging on a user on Youtube? And telling him/her to

shut the hell up", "shut the fuck up" is being more educated? Your being immature with you words so how can you be respected for being "more educated" than the guy your raging at?

  • what a nice lady

  • Yes, you are born that way!

  • For all those who think that being gay is a choice. Please tell me when you decided to be straight.

  • @cosmocasio In response I would say if no-one forced you, it is a choice.

  • @PimpernellP This response is seriously stupid. With that logic, you can say that I chose to be born male because nobody forced me to be.

  • @espanolmuchacho your'e taking what I said out of context.

  • @PimpernellP How did I take it out of context? You said that if someone didn't force being gay onto you, that you chose it. I simply showed you a statement which disproves yours.

I think what you're doing is mixing up sexual acts and sexual desires. Yes, gay people can choose to have or not have sex. We cannot, however, choose who we are attracted to or what turns us on, just like straight people. We're born with gay desire within us, and quite frankly, there's no reason to not pursue it.

  • @espanolmuchacho look, perhaps I didnt get my meaning across. There maybe some aspects to sexuality that are there at birth. But, you can still choose not to participate. Thats all I was getting at. I have seen posts on other forums where people had stated that they wished that they were'nt gay but if that were truly the case they would cease the activity. But then again I suppose they would find this hard to do. Perhaps environment has something to do with sexuality.

  • To say that people do not choose to be gay because they live in a "homophobic" society is self-defeating because people commit murder, alcoholism, drug addiction, polyamory or obesity even though society despises those as well! So does that mean that they were born with it? No! It may just be because of nasty past experiences they had! Besides if homosexuality were genetic, it would be a eugenetical advantage.

  • @NatDemUK The difference between all those things and being gay is that those things harm and even kill people. The desire for romance and sex with people of the same gender does not.

I would think that having a certain percentage of the population be predestined to be gay would be a huge advantage. I mean, the world is way too overpopulated in many areas. We don't need to have everyone giving birth to 20 kids to continue as a species.

  • @espanolmuchacho

That was not the point of whether it harms someone or not, it was a rebuttal to think that you cannot choose it. To say that homosexuality would be an advantage because of overpopulation would be the same to say that zoophilia is an advantage as well! Most of all there is no overpopulation, that is a hoax, have you not noticed that the birth rates in Europe are plundering? No you did not think that at all because if it were not, there would be no immigrants in Europe.

  • @NatDemUK Well you can't choose the inner desire to be gay. Just like you can't change the inner desire to kill, the inner desire to overeat, the inner desire to drink too much, take drugs, etc. But as I said, the first example doesn't harm anybody, while the others do, so comparing the inner desire of homosexuality to those things is pointless, because people should try to stop those things since they can actually harm you, while homosexuality doesn't in any way (not including murders, etc.)

  • @espanolmuchacho Homosexuality has had a high rate of STDs especially since the anus is not designed to be penetrated which can be if it does. I also mentioned polyamory by the way and that does not harm anyone. It is mostly environmental factors that stick into one's mind to do something, obviously you cannot change someone through words of mouth like religious dogma but through the means of psychiatry.

  • @NatDemUK Well who knows, maybe zoophilia is an advantage for that same reason. It exists, so it has to exist for some reason. If it keeps people from desiring sex with the opposite gender (I don't know too much about it myself), then yes, preventing overpopulation could very well be one of its purposes.

Overpopulation is not a hoax. Europe's population is decreasing, but look at Africa, look at Asia, etc. The world is, on average, is quite populated.

  • @espanolmuchacho What I care about is European countries the most and most of all the immigrants are coming here and are overpopulating which means that indigenous Europeans will become a minority. This queer agenda is being imposed on European people only, which is why it needs to be gotten rid of. The Third World countries need to sort themselves out.

  • @NatDemUK And indigenous Europeans being a minority is a problem.. how? Overpopulation is the topic here, not who's in the minority.

Last time I checked, asking for the same inalienable rights as everybody else isn't a "queer agenda". And I don't know where you get the idea that it's only being quote on quote "imposed" on Europeans.

  • Nice advice! :) Anne Mitchell is very wise, she reminds me of the school nurse of my high-school. I just wish the sound was not corrupted, I wonder if an algorithm can do something to fix it.

  • Exactly why is this question important or even relevant?

  • She was right in the beginning that science has NOT found any biological etiologic factors for homosexuality. That was honest, but then she ignored all of that science and had lousy advice to parents. "Let the kid know that you think gay is ok." The proper and honest advice to children is that there really isn't any known cause for homosexuality beyond a person failing to have personal standards of behavior. That no lack of control gene has been found to explain lack of control gays insist.

  • @derdagian1 "She was right in the beginning that science has NOT found any biological etiologic factors for homosexuality"

    Another important qualifier is "YET."

Science has not YET found any biological precursors to homosexual behaviour.

Oh, wait, but that's not true!

It is EASY to produce homosexual attributes and behaviours

by adjusting the relative amounts of estrogen and testosterone

    in the foetal environment!

And ALL commercial beef is now flooded with estrogen...

  • @Imaginefree69

It was "yet in 1960. Yet in 1976. and

yet" in 1998. YET, yet, yet....

There has never, ever been a biological homosexual etiologic finding or mechanism produced from the 'born gay' hypothesis. Not after 5 years, ten, thirty, or fifty years of saying "yet," which is a bogus assertion and pure wishing.

There is no identifiable "homosexual attribute or behavior." Where am I supposed to find those; on the small print of an enema package???

  • We know that being gay is a perfectly normal, natural part pf the human experience. There's no one, single "gay gene", just as there's no one, single "heterosexual gene", but both gay and straight orientations are innate, unchangeable, and perfectly okay. We shouldn't discriminate against gay people any more than we should discriminate against those who are left-handed, red-haired, Christian, black, etc.

  • If my kid is ever gay that'll suck.

  • you are assuming you will ever convince a girl to sleep with your sad ass...

  • hahaha

  • why?

  • Its just sad and not normal.

  • i hope for the kids sake that he/she is not gay.... id hate to be gay and have you as a parent

  • Well its weird because it can't make a baby and two of the same sex people is just very wrong.

  • @paintballfraser11 explain how is it "wrong", and why. can you explain without including any Biblical reference?

  • Why couldn't I use a Biblical reference. You an atheist?

  • It dose not matter if you are an atheist or not, not every one is. In a free country you can't use a holy text to justify saying something is right or wrong or if you should have the same rights as everyone else. You need to show evidence, I have lots of evidence that murder is wrong, we don't need the bible to tell us that. So yes you can't use biblical references unless you can back them up with evidence and if that is the case what is the point in quoting the bible at all.

  • That's also the case for sterile/infertile couples: they can't "make a baby." Is that wrong? Or is that simply a variation that occurs in nature? You don't have to agree or disagree with it, simply understand it.

  • @poolerboy0077

yes something is wrong with any indivdual who cant have childrnen. His a physical problem that isnt normal.

But people are born with the inability to produce children, gays can have kids if they sleep with the opposite sex.

  • The objection that's being made is that what's wrong biologically necessarily tells us what's wrong ethically. These two are mutually exclusive.

  • Its not the same because its a man and a woman. 2 men or 2 women is not the same. If it was all good then why isnt everyone just like that. Or maybe half the people. It's messed.

  • "Its not the same because its a man and a woman."

OMG you mean to tell me there's diversity in the planet?!

" If it was all good then why isnt everyone just like that. "

LOL. How is that even an argument to anything? If being black was all good then why isn't everyone black? Or at least half the people on Earth?

You're problem is that you simply find something strange and from that you're trying to conclude that it's wrong. I'm sorry, but that's a crappy deduction.

  • are you serious. the colour of your skin isnt the same and 2 of the same sex people. not to offend you being a homosexual but seriously get a chick in your life. maybe even talk to women

  • "are you serious. the colour of your skin isnt the same and 2 of the same sex people."

It was meant to illustrate the absurdity of your argument by analogy.

"not to offend you being a homosexual but seriously get a chick in your life. maybe even talk to women "

I do talk to women. You have absolutely zero clue about what on earth you are talking about. You have a whole host of misconceptions about what sexual orientation is.

  • gay is fucked ok. that's why they get made fun of and most people think that's weird. If it was completely normal no one would think its weird.

  • "that's why they get made fun of and most peopel think that's weird."

Black people get made fun of. Some people think people of other nations are "weird." Therefore those people are wrong in some way? No. Your arguments are asinine.

  • "If it was completely normal no one would think its weird."

You mean how most heterosexual men find it weird to see two hot girls making out or having sex with each other? Oh wait, they don't have a problem with that kind of homosexuality which turns them on. Hmm. Most people find it weird/disturbing to see their parents engage in sensual banter. That doesn't mean their sexual attraction toward each other is wrong. Children who find veggies disgusting isn't nature telling them it's wrong.

  • good for you if you like watching gay porn. and how am i grasping at straws. I just feel sorry for you. you not supposed to see you parents have sex. wtf are you talking about. you bring in totally different things to try and support your argument. veggies? lmao

  • "good for you if you like watching gay porn."

And the majority of straight men also like watching gay porn...they just don't call it that. They call it things like girl-on-girl porn. It's still homosexual though. The reason you're grasping at straws is because you fail to realize the weakeness of your arguments that simply appeal to your own revulsion, but they're not even consistent as I just demonstrated above.

    "veggies"

Do you seriously not get the point of analogies?

  • Whatever you say homo. I hope you never turn gay unless you are already gay. And if your already gay I hope you turn straight.

  • So no? I'm not correct in saying that most straight men like watching gay porn (i.e. girl-on-girl)? That's all you have, insults? LOL. Pathetic.

  • You're grasping at straws at this point.

  • i love the arguement that god would never make someone gay, but yet he would make people disfigured and born with birth defects and all sorts of diseases. i'm not comparing homosexuality to a disease, i just think it's funny to say that god has anything to do with it. it's biological. plain and simple. i've known i was gay since before i knew what the word gay meant. it's a part of you and it surfaces from a very early age whether you understand it or not.

  • Amen...you've couldnt of said it any better!

  • We are born gay PERIOD

  • things in life don't make you gay, they make you REALIZE you're gay

And couceling doest help, it only seems like it when

1 the kid want to shut their parents up so they say they're "cured"

2 don't accept it themselves and have a bad case of denial....and by some miracle they mange to trick themselves

3 Just cuz you don't think being gay is gross, doesn't mean you are. It's possible the person didn't realize it and just thought "im gay? therefore he couldve been confused and never was...

  • you can't turn gay. you are only born gay

  • Growing up. I was quite feminine, I sometimes wonder if I have simply just not found my "dream guy" and that I'm Bi.

I however am straight from what I can tell. I wouldn't be surprised if I were gay.

I was always the guy who didn't stare at girls asses and didn't care how huge their breasts were. I still don't. I never took how they look into account, I rather care of what person they are.

So I wouldn't be surprised one way or another. I'm glad whoever I become.

  • I don't understand why people find it so hard to understand why someone would choose to be gay. Such a choice would be made for the same reason any choice is made: one feels that the perceived benefits is worth the potential consequences. If a guy really, really likes to have a cock in his ass, and he thinks it's worth the stigma & prejudice that goes along with that indulgence, then he'll accept the cock with the stigma & prejudice. And it's the same thing for a girl who like pussy. Simple.

  • you think its easy to understand that one would choose to be exposed to all the bigtory, have an entire government party against me, predjustice and haterd?

Did you choose one day "hmm i like pussy"

    No you didnt.

You cannot have sex with a guy can you?

  • I admit my language was harsh. Allow me to soften it in this reply. 1st: Yes, I do think the rationale of someone choosing a particular thing is SIMPLE; but dealing with the consequences of said choice isn't always EASY. There's a difference. 2nd: Yes, I DID choose what I like; but not just on one particular day. I choose moment-by-moment everyday to think, feel, and do what I want. It's my personal practice. 3rd: Yes, it's POSSIBLE for me to have gay sex. But I dont want to.

  • you're an embarrassment to all straight guys everywhere. you don't choose what you like, no matter how much you tell yourself that. you don't choose to feel something, you just feel it.

  • Comment removed

  • unproven opinion? *snort* ...okay. just go ask any straight guy anywhere what he thinks about that comment. and why my mother's ass when your mothers' is so much wider?

  • Comment removed

  • my bad dude, I didn't know you didn't have a mom.

  • you use the arguement that it is possible for you to have gay sex, but you don't want to. HELLO genius. that says it all right there. the act of gay sex does NOT make you gay. you are straight because you don't have that attraction to the same sex. i am gay because i have that natural attraction to the same sex, and have NEVER had an attraction to the oppositte sex. GET IT??????

  • no it's really not like that. you don't choose you you are attracted to. that is all biological.

  • "percieved benifits" wtf are you talking about? you really have no concept of the subject. there is no choice involved. sexual attraction is biological. i can choose to have sex with women and that doesn't make me straight, because i would be faking the attraction and it does not come naturally to me. how is that so hard for you people to understand? seriously wake up already.

  • Stop being so God damn condescending. I know just as much about the topic as you do. When I reference "perceived benefits", I'm merely making a logical indication that people do and choose anything over the other because they think it's worth it. That's all. And you and your whole damn "community" need to stop acting as if it's a proven, scientific fact that someone's sexuality is inborn, because it's STILL NOT INCONTESTABLY PROVEN! That's why scientists are still investigating it.

  • I personally believe that everyone is born bisexual

Depending on your life and how you grow up, you either grow up to be gay/lesbian or straight

  • that's idiotic. not everyone is bisexual.

  • I remember when I decided to be gay. I was sitting there in high school and I was thinking "Gee...how can I get beat up more....."

  • hahah, good one dude

  • For those straights who think it's a choice, let me offer this challenge- just for a single weekend, DECIDE to be gay. CHOOSE to be erotically stimulated by someone of the same gender. ELECT to have romantic feelings toward a gay person. MAKE UP YOUR MIND to not be attracted to anyone of the opposite gender. If you can do this, it's a choice. If not, please do what Jesus did and shut up about it.
  • Or.. Stop making excuses.. Theres a penis theres a vagina.. Do you need an instruction manual? We would not have the different sex parts if we were "born" gay.. Its is psychological.. My gay friend went to a psychiatrist and guess what he isn't gay anymore.. Its caused by psychological impact in your life.. And when my friend went a to a therapist.. They helped him realize he wast gay.. They dug deep into his thoughts and mental health.. And something clicked he realized hes straight..

  • @Imaginefree69 What happens in the mind is often driven by circumstance and is difficult to choose. It is possible to condition oneself to feel differently but why would you want to? Behavior on the other hand, is always a choice.

  • @MrMZaccone "Behavior on the other hand, is always a choice. "

Wouldn't it be great if these self-righteous haters

would choose to act rationally, mercifully, compassionately...

  • @Imaginefree69 Don't forget responsibly.

  • @MrMZaccone Yes, responsibly would be great, too.

Honesty and integrity would be startling but welcome,

and a bit less gleeful ignorance would be most refreshing.

But if they had all of these things

they would no longer be haters.

  • @Imaginefree69 In 1993, Dean Hamer of the National Cancer Institute claimed to have found a genetic link to homosexuality. Yet in 1999, the results of an intensive study by the University of Western Ontario found that Hamer was in error. The fact is that after all the attempts to show a genetic cause for homosexuality, no such genetic cause has been found. Unlike you I like to use evidence in my argument not a personal experience.

  • @Imaginefree69 YOUR A COWARD SERIOUSLY A FUCKING COWARD HOW CAN U SAY SHIT LIKE THAT ABOUT JESUS?! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?

  • @Imaginefree69 I have actually tried it. For 10 days. And nothing.

  • How dodge. Of course you can choose to be Queer. Who wouldn't?

    We're Homo Superior.

    End of story.

  • Such a lovely and well-informed lady. I agreed with everything she said!

  • Mel and Koshie looked SO awkward in that interview...

  • my gay friends to told me they were born gay but then again there not scientist

  • No, because not all parents are against gays. Thanks.

  • I've seen more evidence than any of you hetty bastards ever will, lol ;)

"Are you born gay" is a really naive question. The real world is more complicated than that.

Even if the question wasn't stupid and it did have a yes-or-no answer, it wouldn't really matter, because there's nothing wrong with being queer.

  • @baglieg thats wht Tilla tequilla did, she decided to be lesbian

  • You are not born gay, you become gay. Look at the evidences and facts. Get real guys. Lets stop trying to make excuses for our behaviors!

  • What "evidences" and facts? I see more evidence towards the genetics that make a person gay rather than the way someone is raised. After watching countless reports and reading scientific articles of this discussion I am convinced that being homosexual is completely natural just like being brown or black is. Though that wont stop me from making gay jokes... or black jokes.

  • MonsieurTruth - there is absolutely no evidence that anyone "becomes" Gay. Get real and check your facts.

  • 54% of ALL mammals have a same sex, "experience" there for, IF it's in nature than it's not a chose, and your not able to say that you'll be gay in lets say 20 years, you just can't say that you want to be gay. NOW you CAN have a gay experience once with out being gay, but in the mammals they found out that it was more than just once, or even twice. So you yeah..

  • yes they can u are not born gay you become gay.

  • Thanks for posting this. I missed it the other week, and couldn't find it on the sunrise site for some reason.

  • POINT! NOT ALOT OF CONTROL! Thanks that gives me a better way to word it...
