  • actuallly.. it looked better in person. dude, its a fuckin peugeot. I bet you havent even seen one in america

  • Ricee Ricceee RICCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • Nothing on that car was riced out.. im ANTI-RICE

  • the paint is good! MI16 looks best in red

but those wheels.. not so much.

the car sounds very nice however.. i would buy this car!

  • One of the greatest French sport cars!

  • @bidibi83 not really.... Renault 8 Gordini, Peugeot 205 GTi 1,9, Peugeot 306 S16, Renault Clio Williams, Renault 5 Turbo2, Renault Clio RS, Renault Megane R26R, Citroen ZX 16V there are plenty of sport car far away better then this familly sedan with this little 1.9 engine...

  • @ArnaudShanghai actually that lil 1.9 as you called it formed the basis for the pikes peak monster

  • @lostwill86 Yes, but unfortunately the pike peak monster was never available on the market :) The 405 Mi16 is a good car, but not one of the greatest french sport cars for sure. The 405 T16 was already a better car.

  • @ArnaudShanghai but for a back roads blast it out paces just about all of those =]. the t16 and mi16 have been known to put out 500+ hp where as the gti 6 will put out a similar power but seem to plow up more often sadly =[

that was a horrible day =[

  • like to see those Euro cars oversees..Looks like those guys did good work

at that oldie...mi16 is not bad pretty fast engine, only he's not that reliable..Waterpump swap every 2 years.....idiots put plastic components in there!!!!!!!offcourse its gonna breakt with that high temp...

  • hey yanks, would you like to get a peugeot? then go to mexico and get one of those, you'll never regret

search for peugeot mexico at google

  • Wow! I'm impressed! :)

  • the 505 was the only none american car to be used as a new york taxi!!

guys you's should have left her standard looks wise, those rims do nothing for it

  • Didn't know Peugeot exported cars to America, how many other cars common to British roads do you guys have? Always thought it'd be fun to drive about America in a car that we Brits have but Americans have never seen!

  • wow Peugeot in USA :)

i think Peugeot is very rare in USA

  • Wow, impressive looks and sound!

  • Belle vidéo . Moi aussi je roule en Peugeot , mais au Canada .

  • peugeot engines have the best sound, nice and agressive

  • I've ya hear guys from U.S.A talking about their cars its Magnaflow that , magnaflow this...first thing they do is getting a Magna flow muffler !! Good morning Vietnam !!

  • It was officially imported?

  • @BRIGH58 peugeot was sold in mexico until the 1990s

  • Hello,

My name is Smiley I have a 1991 Peugeot M16 that is giving me problems. it's getting to much gas to the fuel injection do you know what the problem is please.

  • i love that sound

  • This car, would make a great replica for a lamborghini! you should do that, its only about 4,000 for a replica kit!

  • Peugeot 405? how come?

  • thats just what peugeot decided to call it man haha

  • yeah, but i mean, i didnt know we froggies sold 405 in the USA...

French cops used this car for highway patrols till 1995... now, they have Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

  • wrong ;) they used 405 t16 and renault 21 turbo ;) (i'm french ^^ )

  • 405 T16 is a pikes peak car... i dont see the gendarmerie around ehre driving a pikes peak car ?? they get clio's and 206's :D

  • since when ... The 405 t16 road edition existed too , with the 2l t16 220 hp 4x4 , the gendarmerie used it on the highway ;) it's not really a rare car , you can earn it here in france for 8000 / 9000 €

  • No, there was a 405 t16 on sale, A 2.0L 16V turbo with a few more than 200hp and 4WD. Very rare, very efficient but not very reliable...

  • is it the transfer box splines that are the unreliable part. I have a BX GTi 4x4 and I'm told that's likely to be a weak point on that

  • Never heard of that problem before! lot of grip with the BX! The majot problem on the 405 T16 was the engine, it was basicall ya MI16 with a Turbo and this was a quite light engine but not very reliable, also very complicated with the 3 positions air intake. The 2.0 turbo on the 405 SRTI was much more reliable, even if it was tuned, it was a 8valves one with a low pressure turbo

  • Mi16's don't have a lot of issues N/A do they? All I've heard is crankshaft bearings going on them. The BX does have a lot of grip but it's got the 8 valve XU engine with 125bhp, most of that is sapped away in the 4 wheel drive. Still weighs only 1150 odd kg but that doesn't translate into a quick car. A BX 16v is the one to get, 1060kg and an MI16 :D

  • Well you can go up to 190hp (with a Roumiguier or Ruggeri motor tune) but more is dangerous! and the engine is still very empty below 5000rpm. I saw once a BX GTI X4 with the 2.0 8v engine BUT the low pressure turbo one.....light, torquy and lot of grip, a car full of surprises....

  • And 306 S16 also, none of them stock....

  • isn't it a shame to use a import car to do national hwy patrol?

  • I have 2 405 Mi16s and one 505SD here in California. All wonderful cars! Great vid too!

  • american version

  • i had a 1989 405 Mi16 1.9L DOHC .... i miss it till this day .... Glacier Blue ... like a really light blue color .... dam this video is bringin bak memoriez

  • como raja el 405!!

  • Best sounding 405 ive ever heard! a bit better than mine!

  • i agree, one of the best looking one too

  • incredible! a peugeot in the Usa...even more strange a 405 t16!

  • nice to see a peugeot in the states especially a classic like that

  • selling?

  • i love the paint. reds the coolest color for a street car

  • you spoiled the whole car with that godawfull red paint and those wheels ... what a shame :/

  • i have a peugeot 404 and a 204 estate.

  • Quite a rare piece in the USA.

  • i know, i didnt think peugeot sold cars in the USA at the time of the 405.

dont know if you know this, but columbo drove an old peugeot 403

  • The 405 was the last car they made in the USA before they pulled out if memory serves.

Not a bad car to go out on!

  • pitain!!! elle claque ta caisse!! t'as fais un sacré bon taf!! excellent!!

  • Old peugeots 405 Mi16 and 205 Gti looks much better than new.

  • you have right. Face lifting sucks. I had one 405 89` 1.9 and was a beautiful car.

  • i agree, theyre fantastic cars

  • Maaan you gotta see the new 407 307 !!!!!!!!!! dammm

  • The 308 looks great...

  • At least, it's good to see that some americans have good taste! ;)

  • Damn thats HOT! Shame about what they did to the rest of it! I wish my mi16 sounded like that!

  • @Gypsywarrior its the color.... ouch :p nah no hating awesome machine!!!!

  • nice sound.. very nice wheels! very nice moedl aswell, better than those crap cars peugeot make nowaydays.. deisgnwize... gotta luv or hate the new models..

  • peugeot 504 cooll

  • you´ve got the numbers inversed... its a 405.

    504 is like a nowadays 607...

  • Peugeots were sold in the US until they pulled out in 1991. They keep talking about returning to the US market but they never seem to do it.

  • so what made em leave?

  • because george bush hate everyting related to france, just like his retardad son bush jr

  • Awesome. I live in New Jersey too and I have never seen a 405. Only a 505.

  • Dude, You have missed alot =s

  • A Pug in the States! An Mi16 at that! How rare is that?
