If any of you are blessed to have this device. Please try out what I did today. Set EQ to flat / none, turned of all sound enhancements and plugged in some decent IEP's (In ear phones) and listened to an MP3 at no les that 256 BR.

Now you will hear the amazing quality of this unit. I have had it for 3 months and thought it was already good. Now with these simple tweaks it is simply amazing. I have owned most MP3's long with true high end seperate stereo units for some time now.

i actually prefer zune cuz its more balanced out. It will get apps and games soon. also the sound quality is great, just not as good as sony. but to solve this ima get sony earphones, which is A LOT BETTER THAN ANY EARPHONES OUT THERE. Of course it still wont be as good as sony sound quality, but itll be pretty damn close. ;]

refuse to by Microsoft hardware. They are already a huge monopoly with Windows. If you allow them to sell hardware they will monopolize that too if they can. They will drive other hardware manufacturers into bankruptcy because most other corporations can dump tech like MS can. The ZUNE probably cost well over $400 but they sell at a loss, to take over market share. I'll never support MS anything.

If i were in your position i would just get the walkman, solely because of the sound quality. iPod's sound quality is pretty shitbox and i can't stand listening to my music on there. don't get me wrong it's a good product, would be much better if they had the same quality sound as walkmans....

Most people buy the I pod touch because of the looks and also apple always spend a lot of money on tv comercials and adds.

I think sony is more about sound quality and a frienly device without need of special software or requirements like Itunes.
