I watched an episode because I heard it compared to Father Ted. Blasphemy! It's not fit to lick Father Ted's boots. You can see that punch-line coming from a mile off. The stock characters would have been stale in 1974. There is nothing good or original about this show... while FT was a work of innovation and Genius. Simply saying 'Feck' or 'Willy' occasionally is not a substitute for wit. The BBC should hang its head in shame for commissioning this dumbed-down mush.
