I had something like that happen to me. I used Scorpion and was fighting Cage, when I got to Reptile he was a green Cage. Got KO'd with a split punch.

very cool. i did this once on my mega drive, but it was only "sonya".

it happened because of its strange debug menu and, once i was a kid and i didn't know anything of english (i'm not a native speaker), i messed everything and saw what would happen. you can't imagine the surprise :D

If u turn on "cpu fatality" and loose to green Soniya,she will do the "Piss of Death" fatalaty on you!

Just let her win and make sure "cpu fatality"is on,its actually Scorpion's fatality mutilated.She lifts her one leg and green piss comes out,lol.

If second character is somebody else then they will do some retarded fatalities too,but Soniya's is the best one.

I was the first one that found green Soniya and her fatality after 2 months of playing mk1 to death,lol.It was in EGM two years later.

@insaneguitarfreak It's very hard to do. Genesis version only. At the Start Screen, Press: Down, Up, Left, Left, A, Right, Down. This will unlock a Cheat Menu! Inside you will see Flags that you can turn on and off for various effects. Turn on Flag 2 and 3.

Then get to Endurance, die repeatedly until the fight takes place on the pit stage. Then get a double-flawless victory + fatality to face two Reptiles. However if the second opponent in the endurance stage was Sonya, you face her instead.

this happened to me once, but it wasnt sonya it was raiden, i guess whoever you finish off with in the endurance round is who will show up as a distorted charactor after reptile, my case was raiden

Totally real. MK for the Sega Genesis had a secret menu hiding a bunch of different game settings - thats the DULLARD code (down up left left A-button right down). One of the settings doubled the match settings so to win a round the player had to defeat a first cpu fighter and then a second would appear and the player needed to defeat it as well, and do this all again to win the match. Defeating reptile produced a distorted versions of the normal characters with double speed like reptile was.

I think i know how you did it. Were you playen the endurence mode part of the game and got double flawlees and finish move on them. You know the part were you have to fight two of them if so i think its made a team with reptile and sonya (Jade)

no Reptiles freeze and harpoon always are green, it is a secret for MK1 and it is by no means easy to get (unless you cheat)

@SuperMario840 If you mean that the first MK had no female fighters, you're partly right. The first version (the demo) that was tested in Chicago acrades had no female characters. After that, they added her in, so that every production model of Mortal Kombat had Sonya in it.

i remember to fight reptile you have to be on the bridge and you have to lose one round and get flawless victories on the other two rounds.

Na you dont have to lose a round you gotta win double flawless victory and pull off your finishing move.Note a nice little trick i knew was to use lue kang and do his kartwheal upercut finishing move,and you still can knock em in the pit :)

@fpvshitsonhsv No. You have you get a double flawless victory on the bridge level and a witch or santa had to fly across the moon. You also connot touch the block button. Then do your fatality and it will knock them off the bridge into the spike pit.

same thing happend to me, except with scorpian. evry round i did a fatality and got a high score. so maybe that's how to do it. just get a high score with scor. or sub z.

by the way: press up up fast with scorpian for fatality. you have to be kinda close to him.

I actually had this happen to me in the Genesis version of the game as well. I kind of thought that the Sonya/Reptile bug might have been the basis for the female Khameleon story, but there is nothing in game to support this.

You can only do it on the bridge stage, win the 2 matches with flawless victory and dont use block in the final round.
