2 bad ass cars for sure. Most interesting part is a a motor with 100 more cubes, huge heads and bigger turbos isn't beating a 281, stock head, smaller turbo car that badly. Those 4.6 4vs do so well with boost. At that point my next upgrades would be 60mm ball bearing turbos, stroke, and heads ported by TEA. Then it would be the other way around fo sure. It would also be equal upgrades. Also the stock cobra heads don't flow as well as some people think. Awesome race!

wasnt much of a race. the maro could have given the cobra another 100 hp and its gonna walk it. ls1/maro and trans am do not need to be higher or even equal to a cobra to out run them 50-60 hp under and a ls1 will start to slowly pull them. to much weight difference

the cobra is supercharged but has a small 281ci engine.. with 390hp stock.. the older model z06 has 405hp stock.. and its much lighter than a cobra.. the cobra runs a 12.7-12.9 stock with dr's.. the vette only runs a 12.4-12.6 stock with dr's.. sounds like something is wrong there.. and the ls1 ws6 has 365hp. and will barely make it to a 13.3 stock with dr's. anything wrong there?? its all about gearing depends if you wanna run a 1/4mile or more for top speed..
