  • what's the spanish song at 5:00?

  • motorcycles & calculators in 1600? gosh

  • 7:56 ....... best Sean Bean moment ever!

  • I too have wondered for years who sings the Flamenco type song, as it is not included on the official soundtrack. Does anybody know out there?

  • full time "model"

  • a search for the perfect angle ;P

  • Adoro essa parte

  • Anyone have any idea who sings the song...?

  • Dawn Archibald plays the part of the boy who posed for Profaine Love

The morals of today would not allow a naked 12 year old boy.

Still the sceen in this beautiful film is verry telling and the relationship between artist and model???

  • @ozzymandi Surely you mean the prejudices of today, my friend. There really is nothing immoral about a naked 12 year old boy posing for Caravagio's famous painting. It is hardly pornographic.

  • @ifuliki Hardly pornographic? Quite frankly, in the early 17th century in Rome that was probably as pornographic a painting as you could possibly display on your wall without getting into trouble. Also, I think it's fairly nonchalant to dismiss scruples about a grown up paying a 12 year old child to strip for a painting as mere prejudices.

  • the film-maker is pretty clever to bring this acrobatic scenes in connection with caravaggio´s amor -- it is in fact very difficult for unelastic, normal people to pose in this position (though it looks perfectly simple)

  • this is one wierd ass movie!

  • That is such a beautiful song with profane love - who is it by ?

  • wow I have no idea, but it's flamenco, spanish. Weird, because this is supposed to be italy O.O

Teehee I could understand the lyrics, at one point they say: "in the day she has fun, in the night she cries."

  • wtf?!?!??! they have calculators in the 1600s???

  • No.... you have to understand that this is a device used by the filmaker to make an allusion to the fact that caravaggio used 16th cebtury clothing and props in his pictures which are set in biblical times.

Gosh--- I am so in love with this movie!

  • i noticed something about this film...some of the scenes derive from his paintings,,or some gives you an idea or glimps of some of his works..nicely done..

  • Is this the latest bit you've put up unless I wasn't looking in the right place I can't find the rest. It's very interesting thank you.

  • This film intrigues me the paintings are wonderful every time I see it I see something new. Sean is wonderful in it! Thanks

  • Splendid! The whole film looks like a painting. Sean Bean looks fantastic! Thanks!
