Where do you get your numbers from. Actually initially it was reported $150K total bill, But now we are finding out that it was misrepresented. And it's actually the 3rd of that bill. The reason was that shoppers had to buy the same thing in a few sizes, since Sarah Palin wasn't with them. So everything was bought in 3 sizes and taken back after the fitting. On top of that, these clothes is not her property and will be auctioned off, donated, or returned, which I think she should keep.

As for passing ethics reform, you should check out her ties with the oil compagnies and her involvement in the suspicious fiering of her ex brother in law in wich case she was depicted has playing a influential role by court. And her experience as Wasilla's mayer, a city that has a couple hundreds more souls than my former highschool, was not much more than budgetting taxes to maintain a half dozen municipal buildings and employees, signing their paychecks and holding townhall meetings.
