I'm actually not really digging it. I love the original and I would have to say that the Tori Amos cover of it actually is my favorite, because she took this song and made it her own by giving it a different feeling even though it's still so obviously Nirvana.
This was absolutely awful, that is a fact, not an opinion. She was off key half the time and it was a pretty dismal vocal performance even despite that.
@markedrules no way. from the most partial, technical standpoint, this was poorly executed. An opinion would be not liking the tone of her voice (which I didn't here) or the way she changed the melody (which I didn't either), but the FACTS are that she sang off key and off time. If you could make a computer program that could judge the technical proficiency of singing, it would have to give her an F here, not because of opinion, but because it was truly just bad.

Its just not a good fit for her voice, and I like her voice in their other songs its has a unique sound to it, its just not good for covering Nirvana.

Ok, the vocalist sucks anyway in my opinion, so I don't like this version that much, but because I don't really like Flyleaf. Given, they could've fucked this up and they didn't, they just made it sound almost exactly like the Nirvana version :|

I'm actually not really digging it. I love the original and I would have to say that the Tori Amos cover of it actually is my favorite, because she took this song and made it her own by giving it a different feeling even though it's still so obviously Nirvana.

This was absolutely awful, that is a fact, not an opinion. She was off key half the time and it was a pretty dismal vocal performance even despite that.

@markedrules no way. from the most partial, technical standpoint, this was poorly executed. An opinion would be not liking the tone of her voice (which I didn't here) or the way she changed the melody (which I didn't either), but the FACTS are that she sang off key and off time. If you could make a computer program that could judge the technical proficiency of singing, it would have to give her an F here, not because of opinion, but because it was truly just bad.

I really like flyleaf and lacy, i think they are vary talented. Although I think they should have left this classic alone, they did their best and its really hard to cover this song, especially for a female. Kurt had a voice and a way of singing that is hard to mimic. But they did ok. Rock on flyleaf and Long live nirvana and Kurt Cobain. \m/

She sounds funny cuz its live and it's hard for her to sing loud enough to be hear dover the music. i love flyleaf, lacey just sounds a little weird live but they are one of the best bands ever! she's a girl trying to hit some low notes, give her a break.
