@nik1954 That's my take on an old British Postal worker, you dimwit-- not an English homosexual. Watch it again and take a harder look. Did you ever watch any of the "Carry On" English comedies? Alec Guiness in "Kind Hearts And Coronets"? How about any Monty Python? I'm supposing 'no'; but you should give them a try. I'm not removing this comment because I hope you are willing to learn something about English comedy (not insisting that's what I've created-- see the vid I am responding to).
@VABkWrm Thank you! when I was a kid, growing up in 1960s Manhattan, this was an early luxury in our otherwise modest household. Mother and my Step-Dad had good taste!
How did you get that colour from your camera ? Wow ! its almost like the 70's movie look . Not only is the Tea english but the video reminds me of British movies as well, the Carry-On series in particular as that wig looks ridiculously funny . Great Job.
@Galavya41 No real tricks-- I used to be into serious amateur still photography and used an incandescant bulb with some tracing paper clothespinned over it. Nice flat lighting. There's a bunch of CFL "warm" look bulbs up on the ceiling, where they bounce off that ceiling. Adds a background. I am still a fan of the Carry-On series! (Come to think of it-- aren't they 'here' online?) The wig is best described as "Old Perv." You are very generous and I thank you.
@MrChief101 Thanks for the explanation , I'm into VFX and believe me my employers charge thousands of dollars for colour correction .This proves how essential proper training in the classical discipline of photography is to the modern camera man. Well I dont think the carry on series are on You tube but I believe icefilms have megavideo(streaming) or megaupload(download only) links to the entire series .
@Galavya41 Well, several 'thanks yous'-- I thoroughly agree about needing *some* old-school training or experience for modern digital imaging. It's nice to be able to turn Magenta into flesh-tone, but it's also nice to know where it came from. One may be able to make almost anything out of digital nothing, but it's nice to start from something.
I will consider trying a Carry On computer version, but I *am* old school, after all, and may have to locate a DVD or perhaps a VHS version. Cheers!
@supersesqui And well defended, super! Thanks-- to all, do make sure to follow the trail of inspiration mentioned in the "More Info" tab above. It really helps explain things. I do have a "better" English accent which is not in evidence in this response vid.
(Small but nice collection of vids on your site, supes!)
@chang248 If you had paid a little more attention you would have noticed that this was a reply to a couple of British kids who were making fun of American Coffee.
It was intended to be annoying. But also a little funny, so for that lack I really do apologize.
Oh, Mr Chief! I'm rolling in laughs! GREAT! You did my day! Thanks for the spoon #7. Maybe I can consider myself in that... dedication?? hehe! ciao! Mario! p.s. where did you get that WONDERFUL wig? TOO MANY HAIRS over the eyes! ;-)

Ahhh-- that Cuban stuff can strip paint. Good idea, but you don't want to see me dressed up as a Cuban. Too hard to hold the mule still.

My most difficult SPFX yet! "Stitches" is the clue!
What really fondues my cheese is that I can't seem to get that damned "Re:" thing to work properly. It used to be so easy.
Thanks, Van!
