  • WOW all the morons who think that 130-140 lb dog is in pain.. that dog dose't even know that 12 lb baby is there.

  • Am I the only one that noticed that the whining was coming from the OTHER dog in the video (the smaller one not being ridden)? If the Great Dane was whining, you would KNOW. Their vocalizations are much deeper-pitched.

  • @JessLK721 i agree. the great dane didnt seem fazed by any of it, he was sniffing around np.

  • Is that a great dane?

  • I used to ride my grandma's boxer when I was little, but I was born prematurely and was tiny. Plus the dog didn't mind. If the dog is upset, don't do it. Don't do it if the breed is susceptible to bad hips, but don't judge until you know the exact situation.

  • These dogs are as strong as an ox, that is not hurting it at all, also I think it may have been the other dog crying (you can see it in the bottom right 0:32.) If it was in actual pain it would just run away. They're just having a little bit of fun. Calm down. Absolutely nothing wrong with this.

  • What a stupid pair of people who can hear their poor dog WHIMPERING and still make him carry that child. They shouldn't be in charge that dog, and from conjecture, they shouldn't even be allowed to reproduce. What a pair of as$holes!

  • Yeah relax with "dogs arnt meant to be ridden on" bs. Its a baby, its not even a toddler yet. First off the baby isnt that heavy seeing that the mom was holder her arms up lessening the weight. The dog clearly doesn't mind seeing it was the one whining it was the next dog. Also it was just for fun, nothing serious as jumping on top of the dog when the kid is like 3+ yrs old.

  • @StealthAssasin1 Exactly. I did notice the mom was supporting the weight. It may not be wise to do this with a breed that gets hip problems, but once or twice isn't going to kill the dog. I rode a boxer when I was little and she didn't mind it at all, and she was a much smaller dog.

  • ICH FINDE ES SCHADE ICH DAS SO EIN ELEGANTER HUND ZUM SPIELZEUG GEMACHT WIRD WELCHER IDIOT KOMMT DARAUF EINE DOGGE ZU REITEN HABE SELBST EINEN UND WÜRDE SO ETWAS NIE ZULASSEN!

  • It's a different dog whimpering. They have one caged somewhere probably and he/she wants attention too.

It is still not good to put weight on your dane's back, especially since they are prone to hip complications just because of their breed.

  • Maybe the dog's whimpering at the irresponsible parents, eh?

  • well danes wimper all the time! this baby is half being picked up by the mama!

  • Maybe some extra calcium would help the dog before this...

  • cute baby, but do you not hear ur dane whimpering? this means it hurts him to put ur baby on his back. go buy a horse! dogs are not meant to be treated like horses.

  • @nordyboi If it truely did harm the dog, it would walk away.

  • @nordyboi i dont think its the dane that was wimpering. u can see another dog with its head down if u watch closely. but i agree that u shouldnt teach ur kids to sit on the dog.

  • @nordyboi You are retarded, that dog must weigh 120 pounds and that infant cannot be much more than twenty, not to mention that lady is holding her kid. That dog probably has a great life with a great family, and doesn't need your advocacy you fucking know-it-all.

  • @wheelockst Agreed

  • @nordyboi

Horse should be riden either. Stupid, selfish human riding thhem, shiping them and abusethem for their own amusment. I hate people who use animals for human benefit.

  • ahh the good ole Great Dane!

  • "teaching the baby to ride a dog..." get serious. The dogs are there for the kids, not the other way around...if you get them interacting early enough everyone will learn their boundaries. I am sure these people won't have their 7 year old riding their dog...this was just for fun. Lighten up.

  • dogs are there for kids....

this doesnt have to mean that this child has to ride him like horse.

afterwards they wonder why the dog became anrgy.

  • that a beauuuutiful dane;

however i do agree with mofnn24 because many big dogs DO suffer from spinal problems and this just worsens it... but i would call that being a poor parent or "idiots"

  • The idiot parents are teaching the baby it's OK to ride a dog. This is not what a dog is for, and many of these big gentle pups wind up with spinal problems and are surrended at shelters

  • get the sand out of your vagina, seriously.

  • learn to place commas. They aren't teaching it anything, the dog is an amazing dog and understands. Loves the attention. The baby is fairly young, too. But, there isn't a thing wrong with being an immigrant.

  • @mofnn24 pretty sure that baby's not going to remember this. and @nordyboi the dane was whimpering even after the baby got off.

  • @mofnn24 They aren't teaching the baby it's okay to ride the dog. They are only having fun. The baby wouldnt even remember this to learn anything from it, kid.

  • beautiful, but that dog was asking for a pee, he really was begging haahahaah so cute

  • beautiful dogs..:)

  • Beautiful babies.......
