I already had apps downloaded to my tablet when I saw this video so I skipped the factory reboot and just did the computer download and put the zip file onto my SD card. When I put the card back into my tablet I clicked on the appinstaller and clicked on install from SD card and followed the order in the video. Works just fine for me.

I wasn't paying attention and clicked the start up instead of the launcher. now it's on a setup wizard loop I can't get out of. I've looked everywhere for a solution. I've tried resetting by holding down the power and +vol buttons, but that doesn't work and the force close comes back too fast to access any of the other options. Do you know how I can fix this? @SinTheRapper I've been doing that. I hold down the power and +vol buttons and it says upgrading in green, then goes to the loading screen even if I take my SD chip out. It boots up and immediately the Setup Wizard warning comes up. I press the force close button, but the warning comes back so fast I can't get the settings menu to come up. I even ran the battery all the way down and it still keeps doing it.

@sfermanis when you plug ur device into the computer via USB the little android dude should come up and it will say something like connect to USB click it and it will show up when u go to my computer. thats what i had to do..

@GGmaione It has to be a micro sd card. I couldnt get the new netflix dopwnload to post but I will keep trying. (the uprgrade should make netflix work better. The Star is not able to link onto any data services, only wifi. Maybe, if you did just purchase the star, may I recommend getting the maylong M-290 tablet. Its about $50 more but it can work with 4g networks and also get a data package subscribed.

@mahudson68 No you do not have to uninstall the first google account on the initial set up. You need that for other apps registered through your tablet. If you didnt install android market app already then once prompted create a new account.

@SinTheRapper I got it to work by taking your suggestions and by trial-and-error, downloaded the Google Contacts and Calendar apk files from mediafire. Works now but the syncing is too much for this little tablet, Especially Google Reader. You'll get frequent temporary freezes on the tablet while google is syncing. But, it works.

@rodzillaa4 - put the sd card into the pandigital.. then hook up the pandigital to the computer by using the USB cable... go onto your computer, and click on 'computer'... Thennn look for the SD card , it should be under "cards with removable storage"... lastly drag the un-zipped file onto the memory card :D

@trey49 everything should clear once you complete a factory reset. Do do so. Follow the instructions in the beginning of the video to do a factory reset. (Holing Don power and volume up button to power on, let go of just the power button, then after flash release up volume button. press volume up button to scroll to factory reset then down volume button to select.

@billybob100891 yes. if you signed in with a an existing google account it will not work. You have to create a new google account for that particular device. So my advice is unistall the the g tablet folder apps, then re-install this time CREATING a new account. and for whatever apps are not there, look them up thru mediafire apks.

@ninetailfox8910. I had the same problem. You have to create a new google account on your pandigital tablet so it will register that particular device. If you cant, uninstall everything the re-install and then sign up.
