  • seriously who is the one guy who disliked this awesome bit o shooting

  • Wonderful shooting mate! :) and keep on the great job!

  • Cheers for the reply Ted!:)

Great, really looking forward to your review of this rifle as I know how hard it is for ye guys in the US to get 1!

Belated Happy New Year to you & yours.

  • hey Ted,

great vid & love the vids as very interesting & educational.

Keep you the great work & be great to see a HW100 .22 FAC review as some stage as I know you asked your pal VerminSniper in UK to do 1.

    P.S @ 8:39 shot actually did hit the tree11 lol... :0

    All the best mate

  • @MrB738 HW100 is on the way right now. I will review it this winter. :)

  • What do u think about Air arms S 410 .22 .is that a good gun?

  • You using jsb pellets?

  • GEEZUS that's good shootin :)

  • how do you account for the holdover is it just estimation

  • I'm shocked to see a fellow wisconsin resident wasting beer, thats blasphemy in our state bro!

  • how can you tell how far the target is?

  • 3 years is nothing id still drink it

  • like the vids

  • Aah Light beers. Now i understand. Great shooting, and very nice and precise airgun.

  • wat the max fps in the gun tho i geting the benjamin marauder in 22 and i geting the same pellets u use how much fpe is it going to out the marauder

  • i like at 12.43

  • wat the fps with the lightest pellet on that gun

  • hey how much fpe is that gun doing with them pellets

  • @rcaragman The energy is 33.5 fpe at the muzzle. With 18gr pellets it shoots 910 fps. With 14gr pellets, around 1020. I've never used anything lighter than that.

  • wow iam like all those good coronas to waste

  • hi i was wondering i am getting a new air rifle after christmas and was wondering what you would suggest????

  • dude! shoot the birds not the beers!

  • Beer killer!!!

  • Very nice. You really know what you are doing and talking about.Very nice video, thanks for your efforts,i really enjoyed watching them, thanks

  • Nice colateral at the end!

  • I have a view questions about the rifle & the scope.

    1. Does the point of impackt change (POI) when you change the magnification? I had a cheaper scope were the POI did change. So I'm looking for another scope.

2.How much did this setup (the gun + scope) cost to build?

3.Did you know that there could still be some lead in the birds left. This might not be so good for the cats.

Nice shooting man. I really liked it. Hope that one day i will be the owner off such a great pcp rifle.

    CHeers!

  • What that program that you show how to Calibrate the mild dot after got got the ftps and it's it free or u have to buy it?

  • @XXhizzors 150 yards on a bird would be stretching the limits of this gun. The conditions would have to be perfect for me to take a shot at that distance. Mother nature usually isn't so accommodating... And the camera adds a second degree of difficulty.

  • That gave me motion sickness

excuse me while I blow chunks

  • Edgum que arma é esta, digo qual a marca envia para meu email rubens.alves.psi@gmail.co

  • shooting expired beer is not a waste,

    allowing beer to expire is!

  • @YRUIM LOL. That, sir, is a very valid point!

  • you are toooo good!......i only just got back into long range(ish) shooting and it aint easy

  • Who makes the camera mount?

  • @Rubberducky1177 It's made by a company called Seben, the mount is the DKA2. I have made a couple videos showing the specifics of this mount. You can see them by visiting my channel. And thank you for the sub! :) Ted.

  • @EdgunUSA What type of scope are you using, please answer.

  • i live in wisconsin too its beautiful btw love ur hunting vids

  • super shot super.............respects

  • Wow! I am blown away with your vids! This was great example of the degree wind plays on pellet trajectory. Thx!

  • pwned

  • WTF! @ 13:49! ^^

  • Yeah man! I love this video & your excellent performance!

♥ This reticle is perfect for this job! ♥

    Epic Fail @ 12:20 :D

  • Ted you hunt with edganom if yes, how many weighed in the biggest trophy?

  • @DIMAS967 Yes, I hunt with it. So far, the largest animals I've shot were groundhogs or woodchucks (about 3-4 kg). I've also taken many rabbits with it. I would be confident taking animals up to 10-15 kg with this gun.

  • @EdgunUSA Thank you for your reply.

  • Ted is a good shooting, some bullet speed?

  • @DIMAS967 900 feet per second.

  • Edgun, i have another question. I am currently using crosman premier holow point pellets 14.3 grain .22. I am wanting to get a more accurate pellet but still have the killing power. I am looking to get the JSB diablo exact .22 14.3 grain superdome pellet. Will that kill a bird just as well as the holowpoint pellet. Ive heard that hollow point pellets are better for hunting. I am mainly shooting from 10-50 yards. Would i still have good results with the JSB for hunting small birds and large birds

  • @wackemanstackum Crosman Premiere HP's are a surprisingly accurate pellet (considering their price). But, to answer your question directly, 14.3 JSB's will pack just as much punch. The truth is that unless you are slinging HP pellets at 1000fps or faster, they really do not expand THAT much on impact. I have not seen any difference between domes and hp's when I hunt with my air rifles (powder burners are a different matter). In all my hunting videos, I use JSB 18.1g dome pellets.

  • @EdgunUSA Alright well i deciding between the predator polymags and the JSB diablo exacts. The pellet with the red point on the tip for increase penetration. Do you know anything about these. And the really only thing i am worried about with those it the accuracy of that pellet. Can you tell me anything??

  • @wackemanstackum Predators hit hard, but I think you'll find that they are not as accurate as the Exacts. I've used Predators only on occasion. They penetrate very good, but aren't needed to take down smaller game. I use them on trouble-making raccoons at short range only. If they fire accurately from your gun, more power to you. The vast majority of shooters get only fair results from them. Exacts, on the other hand, are widely known as one of the most accurate pellets.

  • @EdgunUSA Edgun, you are alot a help. The little things i need to know you know them like you studied them or something. I will tell you that the hawke chairgun pro is the coolest thing i have ever seen on pellet trajectory! Thanks for all your Help.

  • Hey again Edgun, how fast can you adjust your fps too on the Matador?

  • @wackemanstackum It takes about 5 minutes. You need to remove the screw that holds on the stock - remove the stock - loosen a holding screw with a hex wrench - and adjust the hand-screw that regulates the hammer strength.

  • @EdgunUSA No I meant what is the greatest amount of fps you can set your edgun too?

  • @wackemanstackum Oh. About 950fps with 18.1g pellets. So, about 36-37 ft/lbs energy.

  • @EdgunUSA That's some nockdown power right there. I know pcp air rifles are more expensive that break barrels or side lever, but what exactly makes this gun 1600$. That's something i don't understand. When you could easily buy a 22-250 or a .223. What makes you want to pay that much for a pellet gun?? Whats better about it than say a Benjamin Marauder?

  • @wackemanstackum Funny you should mention the Marauder. It is a good gun, and I owned one before I got this Edgun. I own high powered varmint rifles, too - both of the ones you've mentioned. But, I rarely want/need that kind of power, and I certainly don't want that kind of noise or power if I I'm shooting near people. I would NEVER shoot a 22-250 into a tree - that bullet would carry way out of my sight. The reason for the Edgun's high price is QUALITY of its parts. They are built to last

  • @EdgunUSA Yes that would be stupid, but is the price necessary?? Does it need to be that much? I don't know how you can have a .22 rifle that can shoot farther and more accurate and buy that for 150. Then 1500 for a pellet gun. I'm just blow away buy the price of pcp air rifles. I wish they were a little cheaper than they are. Is it just that hard to make a pcp air rifle?

  • @wackemanstackum Not all PCP rifles are that expensive. The Benjamin Discovery costs around $250. Some springer rifles cost $1000. These are elite airguns we're talking about. The parts are top notch. It's the same for other guns - you can spend $100 on a .22LR, or you can spend $1000. Top tier air rifles like Daystate, Thoeben, FX, Edgun, Air Arms, BSA, and HW are not "bang for the buck" rifles. They are elite airguns, and are clearly in a different price bracket. That's why I share..:)

  • @EdgunUSA So what makes you pay $1600 for a pellet gun. Just the love for the sport. Just a very expensive hobby haha?

  • that is some of the best shooting ive seen on you tube without editing very nice work. man i really need to get out and shoot more.

  • @paigow66 Thanks. I pride myself on always keeping things honest. We can't move the hobby forward if everyone is "telling tales".

  • Exelent shooting ! it apears that the Hawke sidewinder 30 is a beautiful choice for this rifle. the mildot, and the small hash marks in-between them ar a perfect reference for determining elevation, and distance. I like the way you set up your EDgun with the camera, good footage !!!!!

  • Please tell us at what distance your scope was zeroed in . Sorry for my bad english...

  • @dvdrwsor Hello. Scope was zeroed at 50 yards (46 meters).

  • Great shooting, and nice setup. ....But why oh why are you murdering full beers???

  • @haus340 :) Because those beers killed my father (and they were 3 years old).

  • Excellent video fella I have thumed and faved this

    ATB Ghost Maker

  • i love your new mildots :) Can you recomend a .22 caliber licens free airrifle ? about 300 dollars ? my .177 gor problems with reloading :(

  • @omgomg113 I'm sorry, I can't. :( Because I don't know the restrictions of your country. But, if I was restricted to 12fpe like the UK fellas, I think I would always opt for a .17 to keep the trajectory flatter.

  • how much fps on this edgun?

  • @putademuerde2 Normally 900-910 fps - but, for this video 940-950 fps (maximum). The power is adjustable.

  • Great video, great scope! How much did you pay for it? Would love to have one for my Talon SS.

  • @nrm59 The Sidewinder30 runs about $400 (US). It would be a great addition to an AirForce gun.

  • great vid.

tip for you, suspend twine a foot above the ground from where youre shooting to your target area, not too tight and you will see the side to side wind and know when to shoot and where to shoot, theres far less guessing.just good practise

  • @ninja6kid Good advice - I should have done that. I forgot my flags that day, but there certainly was no shortage of bailing twine. I could have put something together in just a couple minutes - it might have saved me a few pellets. ;)

  • one pellet-two cans... you are lucky shooter!
